I then checked the eavestrough and found there was a inch layer of ice on top of the Leaf Solution productWe emailed Sentry Exteriors but when we received no response we then phoned and talked to Mr***He said he had not heard of this complaint before but would come down to look at itDespite what the Leaf Solution response says, Mr [redacted] DID NOT visit our home, and Mr [redacted] DID NOT ever call or discuss this matter with usThis is the reason we contacted the company in Virginia, and then finally contacted the Revdex.com.Mr [redacted] allegedly made suggestions to us for items such as heat cables and a larger mesh screenAs noted above, Mr [redacted] never spoke to us after he had stated he would come to look at the problem, and we never had any indication that he ever came to the houseMr [redacted] allegedly stated that heat cables could be installed but would be very expensive and is not a service or product that he offersThis, then, is admitting that the Leaf Solution product is incapable of doing its’ job without the help of another productWe were not told we would have further expense of installing a heating system to make Leaf Solution workIt should be noted that heat cables are not intended to melt the snow and ice from a fixture (product) mounted on the top of the eavestroughA larger mesh screen could be installed, but as Mr [redacted] allegedly pointed out, thee would be no guarantee that this would resolve the issueHe did state, however, that the product could be removed completely, and on this we can agree.The Leaf Solution response states: “Evelyn's Leaf Solution, LLC stands behind the quality of our product and our warranty, however since this is not a product or an installation issue, there is nothing further that we can do”The quality of the product may be acceptable and the installation may be done correctlyHowever, the SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK IN FREEZING TEMPERATURESThe Leaf Solution system is a huge problemThis product creates a dangerous situation in regards to falling ice in areas experiencing snow and cold temperatures.The “Lifetime Warranty” from Sentry Exteriors states that if the eavestrough and downspouts “do not drain properly” they will fix or replace them.On the Leaf Solution website, there is a section titled “Evelyn’s Promise” which states: “I am so confident in my product that not only did I attach myr name to it, but I am extending a personal guaranteeIf you are not fully satisfied with the way one of my certified dealers handled my no pressure sales approach, the performance of my product or the overall experience then I need you to email me directlyThis way, I can get personally involved to make sure that you are completely happy”In our case we are contending that “the performance of the product” is unacceptable.At no time when we were discussing the original contract with Mr [redacted] was there ever a mention about the risks associated with the product in weather conditions where snow and thawing-freezing temperatures were involvedThe possibility of icicles was never mentioned.In our letters to Leaf Solution we deliberately attempted to provide a basis for discussion by asking if there was a solution to the problemHowever, from the negative response from Leaf Solution it is obvious that they are unwilling to take any responsibility for any unsafe conditions or problems that their product createsWe find this response unsatisfactory and totally irresponsibleFor our situation this product needs to be removed and a full refund needs to be made[redacted] ***

I am gutter company and have been a customer of Leaf Solution for years I have been having issues with the customer service issue from Leaf SolutionI have been being lied toI think they just tell me what they think I want to hear They promise me my product tell me it is going to be shipped out, take my money, and then don't ship it out as promisedSome times weeks go byI will call and inquire and they come up with some excuseThis last time it took over three weeksI had called in an order, the gal who answered told me the product was on back order and that with in a few days it would be ready to shipI waited a week then called back, because she never called me backShe proceeded to tell me that they filled other orders instead of my orderAgain I put in an order in, she told me the product was available I said great I will take all she had, she promised me it would be shipped out that dayOn the day it was suppose to arrive, I waited all day for the shipment to arriveIt never did come, so I called again, when she answered I asked when it was coming, she put me on hold to check, when she came back on the phone, she said that it had never been shipped out, but yet she took my money days prior, promised me my Leaf Solution I have my own customers waiting for me to do their jobsBy this time It has been nearly over weeks plusThis has been the kind of service I have been experiencing with Leaf Solution sales people this past year Well, as of Monday this week 11-30-I called back to cancel my order, due to where I work, in Minnesota, the weather has now changed over to winter, I can no longer install my jobs because of the weather, so I don't want to sit on $worth of material I cant use until springThey didn't want to cancel my order or give me my money backThere isn't any where that says I can't cancel my orderEspecially being it still hadn't been shipped out That is my right as a consumerThey said they didn't know how to credit my account/credit cardPlease don't tell me that they know how to take my money, but they don't know how to reverse the chargesI am sorry but it you know how to run a credit card machine, you also should know how to credit an account as well, that is their job! I am so tired of being lied to, promised my order and then having it not comeIt makes it hard to provide the customer service I want to give my customers when I can't rely on Evelyn's Leaf Solution to provide the product they supposedly offer I am greatly disappointed with their customer serviceI HATE being lied to!!!! It is to the point that I will no longer by product from them I have been a loyal customer, they will feel my loss

Review: The Leaf Solution product does NOT work in areas where the temperature goes below zero. We contacted their vendor here in Canada, but did not get a response. We wrote a hard copy letter to their Virginia headquarters but got no response. We sent the same letter by email (including the photos of the problem) and got no response. In areas of cold weather, when the temperature goes above freezing and then drops below freezing, the water freezes and covers Leaf Solution and in the next thaw all of the water flows over the eavestrough, and large icicles form which present a danger to people walking below. Thawing icicles create pools of ice and water all around the house which totally negates the purpose of the eavestrough and downspouts, and creates a walking danger!Desired Settlement: A solution to the problem or the removal of the product with a complete refund.

They didn't want to cancel my order or give me my money back. There isn't any where that says I can't cancel my order. Especially being it still hadn't been shipped out. That is my right as a consumer. They said they didn't know how to credit my account/credit card. Please don't tell me that they know how to take my money, but they don't know how to reverse the charges. I am sorry but it you know how to run a credit card machine, you also should know how to credit an account as well, that is their job!
I am so tired of being lied to, promised my order and then having it not come. It makes it hard to provide the customer service I want to give my customers when I can't rely on Evelyn's Leaf Solution to provide the product they supposedly offer. I am greatly disappointed with their customer service. I HATE being lied to!!!! It is to the point that I will no longer by product from them. I have been a loyal customer, they will feel my loss.
