To whom it may concern,
I have tried on numerous occasions to reach the customer I did speak to the customers wife and she told me he would be home in hour and would call me back I have not heard from him from that time I tried to call on August 26th, 27th and spoke with wife on the 28th I want to have a manager go out and inspect the system and test it with video footage so that we can see how it performs
Respectfully,

To whom it may concern,Attached is my first response and it is still our response today I have darkened the lettering for our initial response. We have tried to re-seal a leaking miter box on the gutters They are existing gutters that we installed our LeafFilter on Our installers went out on separate occasions and tried to help the customer out by re-sealing the pre-existing leaks in the miter box After the attempts we have suggested to replace the box with a new one for a nominal fee to make sure this is in proper working condition Our contract with the customer was very specific We were to install gutter protection ONLY! We cleaned, sealed and realigned all of the gutters as part of the job and we did what we could to try and rectify the pre-existing leak but have to replace it for the miter to operate properly.Once again, we will do whatever we can to help the customer out and suggest that we install a new miter box for a nominal fee We can be reached at his leisure to schedule this procedure for repair He can call us at ###-###-#### and we will be more than happy to assist.Respectfully,*** ***VP of Installation

To whom it may concern,
I have already talked with customer and they have agreed to allow our company to come out once per year to clean off the debris should the need arise

As I have already explained, the ice and snow will sit on the system as discussed with the customer His pictures are exactly what I would expect to see, however as also explained to the customer, he will never have to clean his gutters This is exactly what he explained to me why he bought the system. As of today, we will continue to service the product if the need arises We will not be removing the product or granting a financial refund As stated, should the customer need our service department we will be more than willing to assist, clearly we understand the ice/snow on the top of the system Our product is working exactly as designed and helping keep all of the debris out of the gutters as well as the ice/snow.Respectfully,

I was in receipt of your complaint filed by [redacted].  We sold Mr. [redacted] a gutter protection system on November 24th, 2014 and promptly went out and installed the product.  Mr. [redacted], initially called in on 12/5/14 concerned about ice/snow and our service tech went out on 12/8 to...

inspect the system and found it was some ice/snow that was dripping off the front lip of the system.  Mr. [redacted] called in on 1/27 again for the same concern.  Once again, we addressed the snow/ice that it will sit on top of the system and will melt once the weather is warm enough and drain through the system into the gutter. He then reached out to our service department and spoke with our regional manager [redacted] and [redacted] told Mr. [redacted] the same answer about the snow and ice.  Mr. [redacted] then elevated the call to myself and I have included the documentation via e-mail for your review.  We did speak on February 13th, 2015 on Friday afternoon at the office number.  I asked Mr. [redacted] if he would like me to send[redacted] out again and he declined.  His main concern is that the snow/ice is building on top of the gutter protection system and although he concedes that the product does keep debris out of the gutter he is not happy with the weather elements right now due to the cold.I have instructed Mr. [redacted], that our service department should the need arise, is available at his convienence but to simply remove the product and refund him back the entire amount of the purchase price is not an option.  What our company is willing to do is continue our quick, speedy professional service if needed.  Mr. [redacted] has indicated our only option is to remove the product and compensate him back the full purchase price.  As stated, Mr. [redacted] agrees that this is not an issue on the whole house just certain areas and times of the year.  I think we are all dealing with this due to the climate, and difficult temperatures. In closing, Mr. [redacted] has our office number as well as my cell number and if he ever needs us, we will be available when needed.  We are not fully satisfied with the lack of evidence supplied about the products lack of performance, we firmly believe that our product is doing what it is designed to do and "per Mr. [redacted]" it is keeping all of the debris out of the gutter but it is keeping the snow and ice out as well???Should you need further assistance with the customer, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at [redacted] or you can call us at ###-###-#### and ask for [redacted].  Respectfully,[redacted]VP of Installation

Thank you and your office for your help in this...

matter.
Mr [redacted] statement is not so, we did not agreed on allowing
the company to come out once a year to clean off debris. Speaking
with Mr [redacted] was an annoying one way conversation, he read
our letter, adding at lease 50, bab bab bab, bab bab bab, we didn't
have any bab bab bab in our letter. He accused us of attacking his
product. Spoke about his warranty which is not problem, gutters are
not clogging-up, micro screening is caking up with debris and
leaves, since installation. I, stated leaves are suppose to blow off and
nothing is suppose to stick to your micro screening, as per your sales
representative. Mr [redacted], didn't have an answer to my statement.
Call our service dept, they will come out and clean your gutters. I
explained, I would have to talked this over with my wife, his reply,
you don't have to talk it over with your wife, "you are not going
to get a dime out of me".
Our complaint ID [redacted] against LeafFilter North, Inc is not
resolved to our satisfaction.
Mr [redacted] did not conduct his self with a professional
attitude we need to find someone else in the company that would
take a serious look at this inquiry.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. The company came to inspect the property. They determined the issue and developed a plan to address the issue. We are currently working on a solution.

[redacted]

We have coordinated a time to meet the customer and inspect the concerns with the intention of finding resolution.

I haven't received a reply from the Revdex.com or Leaf Filter concerning the issue with improper installation of the filters . I'm sending a copy of the contract with the details of Leaf Filter stating they would repair the gutters and/or downspouts, if necessary. They also would realign the gutters, if necessary, then seal the gutters and downspouts with 50 year silicone. After watching the installation, and not giving it much thought at the time, I saw the installers modifying the filters so they would fit betweena new roof and existing gutter, evidently forcing the gutter/miter box at an angle causing it not to drain properly and leak.  [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:After the "installer' had to modify the filter so they would fit, ( cutting a flange from filter and forcing them in),  they compounded the "dripping" problem.  Also, if there was an issue with a $10.00 miter box at the time of the installation, why wasn't I advised by the "installer" at that time.I feel the only way to resolve this issue is to have a third party, not connected to their "installer", resolve the problem.

[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This company is committing outright fraud by not telling customers up front that a very dangerous condition will occur when it snows. Their product has an obvious flaw in engineering design. After talking to 2 of their people, They dont seem to care or even acknowledge the fact some one could be seriously injured or my house will be damaged.Their reasoning is I should accept the fact I will have debris free gutters,In exchange for the Un-disclosed fact not told up front before purchase, That my gutters will be made useless in the winter months when it snows.Which in turn causes VERY dangerous conditions, That when they ice over, melt over the top,and form ice sheets everywhere. They are obviously driven by only corporate Greed to get sales at any cost. People that live in states where it snows need to be protected from this company from trying to sell them this product.I have lived  nearly 25 years in this house and seen every possible weather condition imaginable, And -NEVER- have I experienced what is shown in the enclosed videos and pics, which occurred after the leaf filter system was installed !!  I have many more pics that won't fit in this response because of size limitations.. The only solution I am going to accept, Is having them remove the product and refund 100% of my money.
