I first became aware of Leaf Filter during a home and garden show I scheduled a free estimate, and after meeting with the representative, deciding to purchase the product
My first problem was with the installation schedulingThe rep was not able to reach the installation manager, but the rep scheduled my installation for the next day in the morning (he stated could not leave the space blank on the contract) Apparently there was another installation in my town either the next day or the day after, and the installation guy would do both jobs on the same dayHe stated the installation manager would call me that evening to let me know on what day they would be installing the guards I never received a phone call
The next day, I stayed home from work in the event that the work was going to be done that day (after all, that was the date on the contract and I was not told otherwise) I called LeafFilter's customer service at that morning (and a few times during the course of the morning) to try to get information on my installation At 1030, I was informed that the installation would take place the next day So, I missed 1/a day of work and would miss another 1/the next
The installation occurred and the installer was very pleasant and efficient He finished the job quickly and cleaned up after himself My issue is the guard aren't nearly as attractive as shown in the brochure In some areas, there are gaps and the guards are crooked At $per linear foot, I expect a product that works and looks great
Overall, I rate the experience a B-
This company has the worst customer service and refuses to admit they installed our gutter guards incorrectly which has caused damage to our soffit We weren't even home when the installed them because they didn't show when it was scheduled Everytime we make an appointment it gets canceled or they show up hours later when we are not home
The Regional office we've been dealing with is out of North Carolina but that was not listed as a choice
Don't waste your money because it is ALOT of money! Save your roof and go elsewhere
