When Mr [redacted] requested an exception to the refund policy, our Dean provided him with an option to roll over his funds to the next semester in order to complete his required verification paperworkWe did not hear back from Mr [redacted] until he appealed again stating he wasn't intending to complete the verification documentation.? Our documentation demonstrates our willingness to work with Mr [redacted] ***, but unfortunately he did not take advantage of the options that were presented.? University of San Diego has reviewed complainant's response and has communications from the student that contradicts the responseThe university has copies of email communication from the student requesting to be registered for the courses in question, in addition to emails providing published drop deadline and communications from the Program Coordinator on course participationThe email communication was sent to the student's personal email address as well as the *** *** address.The university provided flexibility by offering the student an option to delay the start of the program to the subsequent semester so that all verification paperwork could be completedThe student chose not to accept the offerAt present, per the published refund policy, the student is responsible for paying the tuition for courses in which he was registered.

I maintained did I not know that I was registered for courses. The IT department can easily check on the fact that I had no access to any e-mails from the school as I was unable to check on any school correspondence. It is easy for the IT department to confirm that I couldn't read any a-mail from the school. The first time I knew I was registered is when I received a bill, then I immediately called *** *** to drop me from courses. In addition, why should the school charge the full amount for an online course that I officially dropped within a few days from first class. Please check on whether or not I was able to read any e-mails
