As the attached contract shows, the customer, [redacted] ***, initialed that she wanted to purchase a size dress, and that is exactly the product she received She even reconfirmed a few times via phone and email that she was indeed receiving a size Our contract states that we do not offer alterations (other than an approximate hem), and alterations are always to be expectedThis client signed the contract agreeing to our policyHowever, a few days after she received her dress, she insisted that we measured her incorrectly or made the dress too small, and she asked for us to make her a new bodice She did not come in for her pickup appointment (instead she sent her mother to pick up), so we cannot be sure that her measurements did not fluctuate in the five months since we last saw her Although our contract states that we are not responsible for further service after the dress has been picked up, we went above and beyond for ***, because of course, we want our clients to be happy 1) We first offered waive the fee for extra fabrics, and we sent her more than she would need for the adjustment 2) We invited [redacted] to come back into the studio so she could get remeasured and try on the size sample she originally tried on (the size was too big for her at her initial appointment)She told us she could not make it in during any of the available times/dates 3) After she continued to harass us, we told her we could "steam stretch" the dress free of charge, although our policies explicitly state that we do not provide any alterationsWe asked her to ship us the dress, but she wanted to bring it by in personWe scheduled her for an appointment at a time that was convenient for her, and then we rescheduled a few times by request of ***She never came by and later thanked us for our time, and she told us that she will just have her tailor make the adjustment [redacted] has clearly also violated our "Bridezilla" (or anti-harassment) policy in the contractWe feel that we have done all that we could within reason to appease her, and we are now seeking legal advice on this matter Please find the email chain below, and a copy of the client's signed contract attached Thank you, Angela L [redacted] Leanne Marshall

As the attached contract shows, the customer, [redacted], initialed that she wanted to purchase a size 4 dress, and that is exactly the product she received.  She even reconfirmed a few times via phone and email that she was indeed receiving a size 4.    Our contract states that we...

do not offer alterations (other than an approximate hem), and alterations are always to be expected. This client signed the contract agreeing to our policy. However, a few days after she received her dress, she insisted that we measured her incorrectly or made the dress too small, and she asked for us to make her a new bodice.    She did not come in for her pickup appointment (instead she sent her mother to pick up), so we cannot be sure that her measurements did not fluctuate in the five months since we last saw her.    Although our contract states that we are not responsible for further service after the dress has been picked up, we went above and beyond for [redacted], because of course, we want our clients to be happy.    1) We first offered waive the fee for extra fabrics, and we sent her more than she would need for the adjustment.    2) We invited [redacted] to come back into the studio so she could get remeasured and try on the size 6 sample she originally tried on (the size 6 was too big for her at her initial appointment). She told us she could not make it in during any of the available times/dates.    3) After she continued to harass us, we told her we could "steam stretch" the dress free of charge, although our policies explicitly state that we do not provide any alterations. We asked her to ship us the dress, but she wanted to bring it by in person. We scheduled her for an appointment at a time that was convenient for her, and then we rescheduled a few times by request of [redacted]. She never came by and later thanked us for our time, and she told us that she will just have her tailor make the adjustment.    [redacted] has clearly also violated our "Bridezilla" (or anti-harassment) policy in the contract. We feel that we have done all that we could within reason to appease her, and we are now seeking legal advice on this matter.    Please find the email chain below, and a copy of the client's signed contract attached.    Thank you,  Angela L[redacted] Leanne Marshall
