The Complainant was called and was told that service was made and I had the Return of Service for her. I told she could pick it up at my office or I could mail it but I recommended that she pick it up as it was an original document that she must return to the court. Against my
recommendation she elected to have me mail it to her in *** which I dd. Some time later she contacted me stating that she had not received the document. I told her to contact me after a few more days just in case it was lost. I again received a call from her stating that she had still not received the document. I told her that I would have to go back in my records to produce a duplicate Return of Service for her and that she would receive it before her court date. She was very demanding and unreasonable as I told her I had no control over the Post Office. She demanded a refund and saying she would have to have it served again by someone else. This is not true as service was made and the court will not usually issue an additional Summons on the same date.I was able o reconstruct the information needed to issue A Duplicate Return of Service and I contact the complainant over the weekend by leaving a voicemail for her. I never received a call back so I called her again on Monday 9/from *** *** *** and told her that I had the proper paperwork for her and she demanded that I deliver it to her in *** I told her that was not possible as I would be tied up in court for at least hours on two cases that I was involved with and she could pick it up from me there or I would have to call her another time as I was extremely busy this week. She argued that I should bring it to her and told her first I was unable and second I still did not see how I should. She eventually showed up and picked up her document.I believe this should NOT be considered a valid complaint at all. I do however understand her anxiety. But her anger is misplaced. I was given a court paper to deliver, which I did. I was to provide a Return of Service, which I did. I contacted her with the document in my hand and was told to mail it to her, which I didMy job was then complete.All the time I spent talking to her, researching, reconstructing and producing an additional document was on my time and my dime. After my job was done and she contacted me that she had not received the mail, I promised her she would be all set before her hearing, and she was.I have been doing this for over years and in a nutshell, she is just upset, angry, and highly emotional as ALL people are in family court cases. Mail is lost occasionally and it always seems to happen in the worst cases. I'm still waiting for a large package a law firm sent me years ago. It has never been found. Who knows?Her case is on later this week and she is now prepared.Constable *** ***

Mr Leary,I find your comments to be untrue and unsubstantiated.  Unfortunately, I was not able to receive a document pertaining to this case until I contacted the town in which in which Mr. Leary holds his license.  At no time did I become unreasonable or ever raise my voice, however  Mr. Leary several times became irate to the point where he hung up the phone on me.  I remained calm and courteous during all interactions with Mr. Leary, and attempted to resolve this conflict in a professional manner.
