Complaint #XXXXXXXX
Response
Thank you for notifying us of Mr*** complaintWhile we understand Mr***'s frustration, Reply Inccontends that it is not liable for any wrongdoing nor is it illegally using Mr
***'s URLFirst, it is unclear from Mr*** complaint where the ads in question are being displayed as Mr*** has not provided examples of Reply's adsReply, therefore, is unable to verify the veracity of Mr***'s claimsDespite the absence of an example demonstrating Mr***'s position, based on Mr***'s complaint, Reply is not using Mr***'s URL's but has words in the third level domain that are similar to Mr***'s URL'sThis doesn't seem to rise to the level of wrongdoing or illegalityIf that were the case, then as an example, Microsoft would be illegally using answers.com URL's when they are using the third level domain answers.microsoft.comThis does not seem plausibleFurthermore, Mr***'s URL's are derived mostly from generic words or combination of words and ownership of the domain does not give Mr***'s the right to preclude the use of the combination in other areas of the InternetIn conclusion, while we respect Mr***'s position, we do not believe we are doing anything illegal as suggested
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/12/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They are selling kitchen installation leads so they are taking my clients when using kitcheninstallation.com in "their" urlI am not a computer programer, but this seems to be some clever schemeWhen one uses the url such as Revdex.com.reply.com it also redirects to their site reply.com = byerlink.com so how can I possibly show proof of them using it? I would never in a milion years on my own decide to try url kitcheninstallation.reply.com unless I'we seen it advertised with my own eyes! Furthermore using kitcheninstallation.reply.com is misleading to MY customers as they may think that is kitcheninstallation.com reply / contact pageThey at buyerlink / reply.com are very well aware of it and thought of this clever way to misslead clients and redirect them to their websiteAgain, they do advertise doing the same thing (selling kitchen installation leads), so what Microsoft does does not apply here as comparison at allMicrosoft ows both answers.com and microsoft.comMy "beef is not with Microsoft and they proved absolutely nothing by that comparisonFurthermore there opinion that this does not I want them to stop using any of my url's to redirect to their sites without my approvalIf they keep claiming that all is legal, I will show some major corporations what is going onAgainRevdex.com.reply.com That's not rightCome onSincerely, *** ***
