Review: I contracted Leatherneck Lawn Care and Services to install stamped concrete patio/walkway [redacted]-wire mesh in addition to install a 6' Dog ear fence and backyard rejuvenation-remove existing turf and replant with tall fescue, fertilizer/hay at the combined cost of $9370. Prior to commencement of work a deposit of $4500 was due and paid. Upon completion of the work the final payment was due according to contract. The company was informed of my dissatisfaction of the stamped concrete and I was informed that it would be taken care of after 28 days of the concrete curing. The work was completed on August 25th and according to Leatherneck Lawn Care and Services, [redacted], they will fix the problem but it will take 28 days from the time the concrete was poured to apply a concrete overlay. It has been one day shy of two months of this project completion and no satisfaction. One email stated that the concrete will be torn up and replaced. Another email afterwards stated that two inches of the 4 inches will be taken off and an overlay poured but he has family issues that is in dire need of his attention.. I have contacted Leatherneck Lawn Care and Services [redacted] via email, text message and verbally talked to him on several occasions to followup with this complaint as well as the co-owner trying to contact him via phone call to no avail. [redacted] also spoke to the co-owner and mother of co-owner about fixing the problem but nothing has been done as of October 24, 2014.Desired Settlement: As I was not provided an itemized cost of services provided, I would like a refund in the amount of $6000 according to an average cost of installing concrete for 2014 (See the following website [redacted] and the cost to have the old concrete taken out.
