Review: I engaged Mr Leathers to build a bathroom addition. According to the terms of the contract, payments were to be made in thirds when specified parts of the addition were completed. Mr Leathers was promptly paid the first 2 installments. In December of 2014, when work was delayed while plumbing and electrical were roughed in Mr Leathers asked for and was given a $1500 advance towards the final third of the contract. He has not returned to finish my job nor returned the advance. On multiple occasions, I have spoken with Mr Leathers by phone and face to face and each time he has promised to come and complete my addition. It is now August and I've had to hire a different contractor. I want my advance back.Desired Settlement: Have Mr Leathers return my $1500.
