Ordered a jacket, it didn't fit wel so I sent it back requesting a refund Web site says to business days to process Called on day and was told wait until the end of the business day and it'll be there tomorrow Day 8, still no refund, called again and received same story, wait until tomorrow it will be there Day 9.....still waiting

Merchandise sold is either defective or not sized properly Their ads state refund or exchange but when I called they were very rude and said I would be wasting my time if I returned the merchandise (even though it was defective) as they would claim they didn't receive it, it was broken, or some other reason to deny a refundThey are pro's at this deception

I placed an order for a helmet that was on great sale, end of seasonThe website showed my size available so I purchased! Received a confirmation emailA day later received an item-shipped emailhours later I received a "sorry, this item is out of stock" Really? In this age of e-commerce, I expect so much more out of a web frontThey don't have their warehouse/supply tied in 100% with the web? Of course I called and was put on hold for minutes waiting for the next available agentThey gave me the same spiel, and when I started poking at them, was told that they ship in a high volume, try to get everything out the same day, therefore their process is to say it's shipped and then decide whether it's available or not Have they heard of Amazon? Any other high volume company worth its salt that ships hundreds of thousands of packages every day? While I can see a mistake once in a while, actually admitting that this is their business practice is mind-blowingSo now, I have a charge on my credit card, it will take them 3-days to issue the credit, and I'm two days more delayed with finding somewhere else to purchase my helmet Parting shot: I will never ever ever purchase anything from them

I have purchased items on several occasions from Leatherup.comMy experience has been positiveI have different jackets of their house brand Xelement, and both have been better than you would expect for the priceMy brown vintage style leather jacket is over years old an it has held up extremely well, it also still looks great!
Shipping is fast, and if you order the wrong size, like I did with my boots, they will exchange them for FREEYou do have to pay to ship them back, and wait a couple of days for the return to process, but at least they meet you half way pay to ship the new itemFor the quality and the price, its worth risking having to exchange sizesEven if you have to pay an extra $or so to ship something back, the products are still worth buying
Some of the sizing charts don't seem quite right, but you are buying clothing on the internet, sight unseen; Read the customer reviews of each item, there is plenty of advice about sizing and quality from people that have already bought the item
Is there better gear than LeatherUp? AbsolutelySome people don't get itThe stuff they sell is good all around gear, its not super-fancy-the-best-thing-ever, but the quality and service is fantastic considering the prices
If you have spent $20K+ on your motorcycle, than you might not like the stuff they offer(or you might be surprised), but for riders like me, who want quality, and safety(and I will spend more money if it makes me safer) while keeping spending reasonable, their products hit the mark
How likely am I to recommend this business to a friend? Stupid questionI recommend them to everyone, and my friends like the gear too It's good gear, for better prices

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMKPANY!!!After contacting the customer service department and giving them my measurements I was told to purchase a Medium sized jacketBecause the rep didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about I ordered a 2X LargeWhen it can days later it was too smallIt was nowhere near a 2X LargeI called back customer service A very defensive rep said I could return it and exchange it for a 3X Large - which he assured me was in stockI did so at my expense and seven days later the rep calls me back and tells me the item is not in stock at which time I asked for a full refundThey issued a refund Minus the shipping fee I originally paid and the shipping fee I paid to return it AND they DID NOT REFUND THE TAX COLLECTED Is this not TAX fraud? This company is a RIP OFF plain and simple - Do not trust a word they say!!!

Ordered a Kie Bluetooth System from LeatherupIt was "In Stock", got a confirmation email that it had shipped via "day priority mail" and then the next day got a tracking codeThen hours before it should have arrived I got a notice that my order could not be filled! *** it was suppose to already be on the wayNeedless to say I did not take them up on their offer to buy other items and made it clear that I could not do business with a company that lies to it's customers!

had a bad helmet sent out after talking to MAGDA and her making me take pictures send to them then had to ship item back to them and after a week still no word on the return called to ask about it and I was told yeah they got ti Monday 5/2/14 but it hasn't been evaluated yet. this is the worst customer service I have ever had.! I was searching for motorcycle gear and stumbled upon Leatherup.com.
Their customer service was patient with me when it came to selecting the item I was looking for. I am a veteran on fixed income, the prices they have are really reasonable and affordable.

Give them a shot, they are worth trying.
