I spoke to [redacted] several months ago on the phone. He told me we had damaged his sidewalk during the delivery of sheetrock and that we needed to fix it. I told him I would call a stone mason and  we would come look at it and fix the damaged area. I thought that was a fair request on...

his part and I had no problem in lining up having the damage repaired. I don't remember if it was the same day or a few days later we spoke again [redacted] told me they were going to redo the entire sidewalk this year and that we could hold off fixing the damage for now. I told him at that time I would be happy to help him with the cost of some materials when he replaced it. I have still not seen the damage we are talking about at this point. Lebanon Block does not have an issue with fixing anything we damage however we can not be expected to replace the entire sidewalk. I will be more than happy to bring a mason out to his house and let them price fixing the damaged area or giving [redacted] the amount of money that it will take to fix the area that is tore up by us. On the sheetrock I was told we damaged some sheetrock on delivery I was under the impression we took care of him and satisfied the issue of the sheetrock. We currently have a balance of $627.85 on his account he did tell [redacted] we needed to fix his sidewalk first. I have talked to the salesperson involved in this he said we credited back the sheetrock and satisfied Mr. [redacted] I would like the opportunity to take one of our contractors out to his house to look at the damage and have this resolved I do not feel at this time that we are responsible for the entire walk. I also do not feel like we are responsible for a $2,000  cash and store credit. have Mr. [redacted] contact me or send me a number I will reach out to get this resolved by replacing what we damaged.

Thanks,  [redacted]

Review: Approximately 9 months ago I ordered about $3000 of supplies from Lebanon Block and Supply. The sales person told me they could deliver sheetrock and that they would deliver on a delivery truck with a boom that would allow the deliver of sheetrock to be placed through a windows on my 2nd story home. When the delivery arrived there was no boom truck so the deliver people used a fork lift type vehicle to try to raise the products to the 2nd story window. During this process the fork truck type vechile damaged my rock laid side walk. The deliver people attempted to pull the sheetrock through the 2nd story window but each sheet of sheetrock was being damaged. After about 10-12 sheets I refused delivery of the remainder sheetrock due to damaged material. I had the delivery people sign my copy of the invoice to show the items were being returned. It took an extreme amount of time to have my account credited with the return. When I spoke to Lebanon Block I was told the sales person had lost my invoice and there was no record of products being returned. I was able to produce my copy of the invoice that the delivery person had signed and was finally able to get the credit to my account. The delivery person told me that the boom truck had not been in operation in a long time. The sales person knowingly misled me and the delivery person said he does this often. I have contacted Lebanon Block and Supply on multiple occasions about the damage to my sidewalk. I have not received a response from them in months. I had an outside contractor give me a quote on fixing the sidewalk. The quote is for $4,000 to redo the entire sidewalk, purchase new stone, turn key job. On my last communication with Lebanon Block and Supply which was about two weeks ago I even told [redacted] that I felt the estimate was high. I do have an outstanding balance with Lebanon Block and Supply and have told them I would not pay the balance until this is resolved. There are several small indentions in the sidewalk and one very large one. I feel these indetions are causing a trip hazard to my family which includes 3 kids.Desired Settlement: I am asking that Lebanon Block and Supply provide a store credit in the amount of $2000 and a $2000 cash settlement for a total of the $4000 settlement. I will assume responsibility of fixing the sidewalk and release Lebanon Block and Supply of any / all liability. I built an entire house with Lebanon Block and Supply about 10 years ago and have probably spent an additional $7000 on this project. I feel the $4000 quote should be honored because Lebanon Block and Supply has failed to get their own quotes or respond.
