I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have spoken to the other person who owns the horse as well and they have informed me that they didn't receive a bill from Lebanon Equine Clinic till well after the due date. She also has informed me that she has told them that she will pay on it as soon as she can due to her living with no job at the moment. They told her they understand and to start making payments as soon as she possibly can. That being said, no where in that does it say that they will no longer offer their services due to the bill we owe. This would have not turned into a ridiculous issue if they would learn to communicate with their clients. I have still not received a simple phone call from my vet to even just check up on his clients for over 10 years now I believe, which in all honesty, leads me to believe that they (he represents the company so I include all that work there) do NOT care for their clients. The comment that you sent back to me in regards to "offering services for free" was just down right rude and a bit immature. It's called take care of your clients (which is why you are open right? To CARE for animals?) and then bill them. If they have yet to pay, send to collections. We have always paid our bill one way or another. When I call frantically wanting to speak with my vet and cannot get ahold of him while my horse is bleeding for several hours at that point just to find out this company isn't going to help at all really pissed me off. You didn't just make me wait from 9:30-12:30 but you made my innocent horse wait while in pain and bleeding. Why I didn't call another vet at that point is beyond me, I know, but a simple phone call to explain to us that we are no longer welcome to use your services would have been nice. It's customer service and common sense 101. That was the issue here. I understand you are a company that needs to make money just like everyone else, but even acting a bit more concerned for the horse rather than the bill would have gone a looooooong way. Losing us as a client prolly won't affect your business one bit but know this, I will not rave about you guys anymore. Major lack of customer service and lack of caring from your staff. Simple as that...

Lebanon Equine Clinic is a clinic performing medical care & treatment on horses mostly where our clients are located. When at the site of a larger farm our doctors might be unreachable for some time, as we like to give our clients the undivided attention they deserve. At the point our office...
staff reached the vet it was discovered that this particular client has an outstanding balance dating back to May & September of 2012. We have attempted to reach the client for payment multiple times with never a return call or payment of any amount made (until now when the client finally made a $25.00 payment). We have several clients that run into hard times and we work with them for payment so their pets are assured of continued care. However, when a client does not even return your attempts for settling the account, ties are eventually severed. Pets are the responsibility of their owners and they rely on their owners for their care and payment of their care. If vets performed all services for free, how many and of what quality would they be?
