I never had any dealings with Mrs. [redacted], just Mr. [redacted]. As Mr. [redacted] presented himself as a Certified Building Inspector I expected him...

to have a good knowledge base of all building systems, as for plumbing he does not posses this knowledge. Mr. [redacted] on several occasions tried to get me to do work that I as a Master plumber were not correct. I think he was offended by my knowledge being stronger about plumbing than his school book teachings.
When Mr. [redacted] was told of the condition of the building drain ( NOT SEWER LATTERAL)he said I was wrong and that he knew it was in good condition, it was not. The waste stack for the kitchen was rotting threw, evident by the barnacles on the pipe. I would not leave any piping wit kind of deterioration.
I personally spent more than two days time going over the layouts hat Mr. War think are non chargeable time. I also made a special trip out o remove piping that was said to be in the carpenters [redacted], which was not.
The Basement bath Mr. [redacted] mentioned was installed with out proper plumbing, this was part of what I determined needed to be corrected, but I am not a building inspector and was told by Mr. [redacted] I didn't know what I was talking about. An improperly vented bathroom leaves the building occupants health at risk, I don't leave these kind of conditions.
On several occasions I tried to get Mr. [redacted] to decide on what needed to be done to get the plumbing work done, His response was he had to talk to his wife.
As for the additional work and cost Mr. [redacted] was advised that if he exposed the piping that needed to be changed he could save substantial cost, again no decision on Mr. [redacted]'s part.
I have sent Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] two checks totaling $1250.00, which they have chosen not to accept.
I have incurred expenses for time and materials on this project. I believe that the $1250.00 that I have returned is more than fare.
As far as debris left in his driveway, Mr. [redacted] should read a contract and understand that when it is stated that a dumpster be supplied that it is. He expected me to haul off the debris for free.
Mr. [redacted] has not tried to amicably remedy the situation. Mr. [redacted] has went as far as to slander my person.
