They came when they said they would, and owner Luis C kept me updated to the start date and time as the November weather was changing. The Lecla team worked quickly and efficiently doing a thorough and professional job repairing my roof and related water damage.
My entire shingled roof and plywood deck needed to be replaced right down to the roof rafters. The Lecla team went to work removing the shingles and then the plywood deck. I knew that I had three cracked roof rafters that would need to be sistered, so I had those new rafters on hand along with some construction adhesive. The Lecla team quickly trimmed and nailed the sister rafters to the cracked ones, then began installing new plywood deck. Next came the ice and water barrier 6 ft up the roof, and underlayment the rest of the way to the ridge. Then came the shingles up to the ridge before the next day of rain. At the same time, some of the team began to inspect an area where water had leaked behind the siding-flashing and caused some serious rot & carpenter ant damage over a 30 year period. Next afternoon, following a rainstorm, Augustine, the carpenter, showed up to repair the rotted section, which was quite extensive. Fortunately I had most of the materials he needed. The next day, the full crew returned and buttoned up the shingled roof areas to the ridges, installed new copper flashing at the chimney and installed new flat roofing on a low-pitch roof section around my skylights. They even found a replacement roof-vent cover for my kitchen fan - which I was unable to find in-stock at the big-box stores. All the while, a team member was assigned to clean-up, moving all the waste to the dumpster, and keeping the waste from blowing away in the November wind with the temperature of 35 degrees.
The Lecla team did an excellent job for a fair price, with modest charges for extra labor to repair my rot-damaged area.
