After the guest had departed the room and hotel, our housekeeping supervisor entered the room to remove linens and prepare the
room for cleaningThe Housekeeping supervisor noticed the evidence of a pet in the room as there were cat paw prints on furniture and cat hair everywhere in the roomThe Supervisor did take photographs of the paw prints and fur on the furnitureThis evidence allowed us to determine that the guest in question did have a pet, a cat, in the room and therefore they were charged $for having a pet in the hotel, as we are NOT a pet-friendly hotel, which the guest knew as they initialed our sisheet where it specifically states that we do not allow pets and violation results in a $charge
Had the guest made an effort to contact and speak with the General Manager of our hotel, this issue may have been resolved to the guest's satisfactionAt this time we are not prepared to make a financial adjustment to the account
