HOLY LORD! Is it possible for a company to be so absolutely horrible! I have called this company maybetimes a week? They do not answer when I call! But instead they decide to call me in the middle of me teaching one of my classes to reschedule delivering my couch! This has been going on for THREE years! I cannot take this anymore! The lady Alex has harassed me from day one! I am taken and she does not quite understand that! Unfortunately for her I am TAKENHow in the world did she even get this job!? She has lied to me, she has threatened me, and she has flirt with meI am going to have to get a restraining order to get her to leave me aloneAll I want is my couchALL I WANT IS MY DANG COUCH!

I wish I had read all of these reviews on how horrible Ellis is to their customers before I ordered my mattress from *** *** and found out that they use Ellis I ordered a mattress from *** *** online on 9/23/ Tracking shows it was at the delivery terminal on 10/3/ I live in Illinois and was having it delivered to my new home in Tennessee so I was having someone accept delivery for me Ellis called the person accepting delivery for me to schedule delivery on October When the truck showed up at the house 1/hours after the scheduled delivery window they had no mattress/foundation for us I was made aware of nothing being delivered after business hours on 10/First thing next morning I called *** who is apparently the freight company who delivers to Ellis*** is where I got my tracking information
*** contacted Brooke at Ellis and was told Ellis would get back to me that same*** conveyed that information to me and I waited for Brooke to call When she did not call my 3:15PM that day I tried calling her and was told she was out of the office, would be back any minute and would call me right back When Brooke did not call me back I called Ellis at 5:00PM but they were closed for the day
Meanwhile on 10/I called *** *** to see if they would be able to figure out what was going onThis was a Friday afternoon
On Monday 10/at 10:AM I called Ellis again and Spoke with Brooke who said she couldn't find my paperwork That is was probably in the warehouse because they had someone looking into this order over the weekend She said she'd call me back when she got the paperwork for my orderSo a few minutes later I called *** again to see if they had heard anything*** told me that Ellis had hours to find my order and that Brooke would call me backWhen I didn't get a call from Ellis by 3:I called *** back and Spoke with Felicia who called *** and Spoke with ***, who said they were still looking into this On 10/*** from Ellis called me to schedule delivery of my mattress setI said" you have it?" and she said yes So I told her to call the person receiving the delivery for me, which she did The person receiving the delivery for me also asked her if Ellis had the mattress set and she was told in a very snotty attitude that of course they had the mattress set, that's why she was calling The delivery was set for Friday 10/9-11am When no one showed up by 11:my receiving agent called Ellis to see where the delivery was and was told first of all that there was never a hours window given only a hour window and that someone would call backWhen someone from Ellis did call her back she was told that Ellis did not have the mattress set and that there would be no delivery *** was contacted but did not have any information on the order or what Ellis did with itSince it appeared I was never going to get my mattress set and that no one could help me figure this out I have called *** club and cancelled my order From what I've read in these reviews it looks like *** also uses Ellis to delivery their merchandise So I will never again be ordering from *** or *** since It appears I probably wouldn't get my order anyways if Ellis is the only local delivery company they useI don't know how Ellis stays in business I have never read so many bad reviews on so many websites in my life From now on when I order anything that needs to be delivered I will always ask what local delivery company is used
BEWARE!

Ellis Delivery has terrible customer service and communication in both staff and managementThey are not accommodating nor are they professional enough to own up to issues that come up with their services We have called all week left voicemails with managers and other representatives and cannot get them to call us backI would never reccomend this company ! I also will check with the vendor before ordering anything again to ensure that Ellis delivery is not the 2nd party vendor I am really not sure how they can operate their business this way!?

We have had a horrible, horrible experience with Ellis and it hasn't even been resolved yet (at the time I am doing this review)As I write this, it is Tuesday 9/29/
I ordered some chairs on 9/2/from IKEAThe estimated delivery date was 9/14/The first contact I had with Ellis home delivery was not until 9/17/(I understand it was an estimate)They said they could deliver on 9/and that they only deliver during business hours, no SaturdaysI work a job, so there was no way I could get off that quicklyI already had clients scheduled all day that day
I had to go two weeks out for a time I could mark off part of my day, so I requested Friday Oct2ndTo add to the stress of trying to get this coordinated, we were trying to get some other things coordinated and delivered on Saturday Oct3rd (It's too much to explain in this review, but I'll just say, it was legitimately very important to get the IKEA before Oct3rd)
When I made the request to Ellis for Friday Oct2nd, it was two weeks prior to the date (the request was made on 9/17)I thought this would give me time to get the other stuff scheduledI was told by Ellis home delivery on 9/that they would call me early the following week (which was last week) to scheduleI never got a call(In the mean time, I was able to coordinate the other furniture delivery for 10/3.)
I called Ellis back on Wednesday 9/and they said they hadn't started scheduling yet for the week of the 28thI called back Friday 9/and was told that they hadn't started scheduling for this week and that I would get a call next week (notice the pattern here, they had told me the same thing at the end of the previous week)I explained the desire to have delivery on Oct2nd because of all the other things I was trying to coordinate and that I had already taken off work for that day and gave them ample time for the request
I didn't get a call Monday, so I called today Tuesday 9/I was told that they "must have misplaced" our paperwork and that they had already made out the schedule for this week and couldn't deliver our furniture at allThe latest I was told is that they should be in the area this coming Tuesday 10/(which completely messes up other outside factors)Even this is not a guarantee as it wasn't a confirmation, but now I have to block off part of my day this coming Tuesday day just on the hope that they might be able to come and also hope that they can come at the time I mark off for workI am already loosing money because I took off part of this FridayI don't expect to get those hours filled with a day's noticeNow I have to take off part of this Tuesday
With my job, my hourly rate per session is $There are six hours I've had to block off for this so farThat's $I am missing out on because of this delivery companyOn top of that, if we have to have the pest inspectors come out a second time, that will likely be about $or more
The chairs I ordered were $1,It is costing me almost that much money just to get the chairs to my house (so far)This seems entirely unacceptable and I don't even see a recourseIt makes me not want to shop at IKEA online and it definitely makes me never want to interact with Ellis home deliveryIt's been a month since I ordered the chairs and we still don't have a confirmed delivery dateAs I came to write this review, I see that I am not alone in having a very bad experience with Ellis home delivery
Notice through this whole thing, other than the initial contact, I was the one having to initiate contact with them

We ordered furniture from *** *** on 9/7/with a shipping estimate of 9/19/On 9/22/16, Ellis calls and says they cannot deliver until 10/1/16, which is far outside the shipping window The furniture only needed to travel a total of hours from the manufacturerA month long window for a hour trip is unreasonable
I asked for earlier shipment, but was told this was impossible because they do not have any trucks that deliver to my area for another weeks
How does a freight company not have availability to ship?

Nothing but problems!
Starting out I ode red a bed from same club sadly they use this company to deliver. I called because it was delayed in shipping to update the phone number they had on file because my husband was now going to deploy before the bed got here. Woman said no problem it was updated. I waited and waited weeks to hear anything, nothing. I finally went online and looked at the tracking to see in the last two days April 6th and 7th they had called, so I called them, they said they were calling the other number and leaving messages. I once again gave them the right number and asked if it was possible to double check they had the right item. She said yes they would call me back, that was on a thursday. I called them over the weekend and left messages, no calls around noon on that monday I called and asked if it had been checked she put me on hold and checked then because 'they forgot' I once again updated my phone number. We set up the time for before noon on the 18th. They were supposed to call before it was delivered. I called close to noon to see what was going on, the woman who answered told me that had moved it to noon and 4pm and that she can see in the system that it was verified by my husband! Which as he is deployed and unable to communicate with them clearly a lie. I was very upset because I have now lost an entire day of work because no one actually bothered to let me know anything. She got very angry on the phone when I asked to speak to someone above her. She ended up hanging up on me. I did receive a call from another woman who claimed to be the owner, she was hostile and vulgar from the start. Told me that I was making things up and that nothing had been put in the system today the 18th updating the time... I took screen shots of the date stamp on their tracking page that it was in fact updated today. She threatened to just cancel and return the item, so as I write this I have no idea if I will ever get the bed for my son. I told her I was going to contact Revdex.com and she laughed. After coming on here and reading the reviews and this companies responses I can see why she laughed and thought it was funny, they have a history of this and based on their responses they find it humorous to call customers liars.

These people are by far the worst movers in Tennessee! Aside from holding your items hostage, they are insatiably rude! People, avoid them at all costs!

Buyer beware....This company is awful. They do not care what your needs are at all. They will hold your furniture hostage until they feel like delivering it to you. The worst I have ever seen. They kept my furniture for 16 days for no reason. Buyer beware.
