Hi *** ***This is *** ***. This is the information that you requested concerning Lee D Dice. I hope this is of value to you. If you also are in need I have the Certificate of compliance sheet Building code that he failed as well. He never even had the inspector come at any stage of said work so none of the work was passed. If need be I can also scan that in and email that out to you.
Please if there is any additional information you would need to keep this gentleman from ripping anyone else off like he did my fiancé and I, I would be happy to assist you in any way

May 22, 2015Dear [redacted]:
Thank you for taking my call earlier today. As per your request, I am providing the Revdex.com with a written appeal of its decision to record a complaint filed by [redacted]. and [redacted] against my client, Lee D. Dice, on the...

Revdex.com's profile for "Lee D Dice.”Mr. Dice is owner of the business Lee D. Dice Complete Lawn Care, a landscaping and lawn care and maintenance service provider. Even though Mr. Dice does not work as, nor does he solicit business as, a skilled carpenter, [redacted] and [redacted] requested Mr. Dice's assistance in constructing a ramp and deck for their trailer. After Mr. Dice had completed this project, [redacted] and [redacted] set out to deliberately tarnish the reputation of Mr. Dice's landscaping business because of their dissatisfaction with his personal construction contracting side work.
Mr. Dice's objections to the inclusion of the false report include the following:First, [redacted] and Ms. Nischalké filed a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, on September 5, 2014. Then, [redacted] filed a Revdex.com "Product Issues" complaint against Mr. Dice for the ramp and deck that he constructed on September 30, 2014. His Revdex.com profile erroneously lists him only as a "Deck Builder," which is a trade outside the scope of his regular business activities. The only evidence that [redacted] can provide to the Revdex.com that Mr. Dice works in this line of business is copies of third party websites about Mr. Dice's business (e.g., [redacted].com ([redacted]e) prepared by non-employees of Mr. Dice (e.g., “[redacted]") without Mr. Dice soliciting such publicity, [redacted] has failed to provide any credible evidence that Mr. Dice is in the "Deck Building"business, which is the only trade listed on his profile. By allowing [redacted] to publish these accusations against Mr. Dice, the Revdex.com has permitted [redacted] to defame Mr. Dice's landscaping, lawn care, and lawn maintenance business. Due to this libelous complaint against Mr. Dice, Mr. Dice has lost landscaping business, which is completely unrelated to the alleged scope of his business according to [redacted] and [redacted]. Mr. Dice demands that you eliminate [redacted] and [redacted]'s misleading complaint from the Revdex.com database and correct his business's record to reflect that Lee D. Dice's business only does landscaping, lawn care, and lawn maintenance.
Second, the Bureau of Consumer Protection dismissed the complaint ([redacted]) against Mr. Dice with prejudice because it found that the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act did not apply to his alleged "Deck and Ramp" business, as he had not completed work sufficient to qualify as a contractor under HICPA. See 73 P.S. § 517.2. This dismissal is proof that Mr. Dice is not in the business of the construction ramps or decking sufficient to merit a complaint against his business.
Third, the complaint filed against Mr. Dice violates the terms of the Revdex.com's own complaint process. See National Complaint Acceptance Guidelines, available at [redacted] (accessed May 20, 2015); Revdex.com Complaint Form: The Complaint Process, available at: [redacted] (accessed May 20, 2015). On September 25, 2014, [redacted] filed a time stamped complaint against Mr. Dice with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, requesting that the Commonwealth file a civil complaint against Mr. Dice under the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act. A copy of the Complaint Submission Form is attached hereto for your reference. The Revdex.com's Complaint Process expressly states that “[t]he Revdex.com does not handle complaints that involve “cases that are already in litigation." [redacted]'s complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection against Mr. Dice constitutes the initiation of litigation, as it requests that the Commonwealth to seek legal and equitable relief against the subject of the complaint. See 73 P.S. §§ 201-8,517.10. Subsequent to the filing of this complaint against Mr. Dice with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, [redacted] filed a September 30, 2014 complaint with the Revdex.com, alleging “Product issues." It is clear that the substance of this complaint mirrors that of the complaint filed with the Bureau of Consumer Protection. By recording the complaint against Mr. Dice, the Revdex.com violated its own Complaint Process procedures.
For the foregoing reasons, we demand that you remove the complaint against Mr. Dice from his profile on the Revdex.com website immediately. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call my office.
Very truly yours,
