Initial Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2014/10/09) */
Mr. [redacted] promotion was changed and in doing so, his initial account was disconnected and reactivated. When doing so, the next statement reflected unrecovered equipment charges that were on the statement only in theory and not an actual...

charge but were offest by the next statement when it printed. Mr. [redacted] statements should be reflecting his current promotion rate. If not please let us know so that we can make an adjustment.
Respectfully,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 17, 2014/10/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Yes, they were able to tell me my charges but they were also a few weeks late on getting back to me. Also, there customer service is poor and not helpful.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2014/10/13) */
I apologize to Mr. [redacted] for the untimely delay in responding to his request. The delay was in making certain that what transpired on Mr. [redacted] account was precisely what was requested by Mr. [redacted]. This process involved requesting the original recorded calls from when the customer phoned in.
I apologize that this process took so long to complete. I hope that we have satisfied your original request in explaining your charges to you.
Respectfully,
[redacted]

Although the BTSC & IP Engineering departments were unable to determine if the problem was a Mediacom or customer related issue I have a requested [redacted] of credit to customers Mediacom account. Also a technician is investigating the issue...

to resolve the cause. A resolution should be determined and conculuded.

Purchased a house the fall of 2015 that had a lot work performed by Lee Heating & Cooling, previous owners swore by them. After a month of living there, a ductless unit installed by Lee 3 1/2 years earlier had a freon leak. Called Lee's, they added freon, but didn't do anything about the leak, which would have been covered under the manufacturers warranty. The technician had talked about how some of their techs had issues installing them, adjusting some of the values which were known to cause leaks.
It would seem that a company interested in good customer service and retaining customers would have suggested repairs under warranty instead of just adding some more freon to the system. Due to improper handling of this, the system lost freon again within a couple of months making the room with the ductless unit unusable again. We are currently seeking out a qualified company to perform the warranty repairs that should have been done initially.
Also in 2012 the previous owners had Lee add a second heat pump, splitting the upstairs and downstairs hvac. December 2015 the unit started working intermittently. We had another vendor come out, the problem was the wiring was run on top of the studs, which was causing shorts.
