The business reached out to Revdex.com regarding this caseThe owner is willing to sit down with the customer to discuss the concerns that he has regarding these issues. The business will not be offered any compensation or refund at this time without speaking directly to the customer because the business stands behind the conversation had with the customer that day in the shop when he verbally told the shop to take care of the issues

I completely reject the response from Lees Hill. Review: Went in to get an oil change and to replace small light bulb for front light. Attendant told me about emergency brake not holding and I asked to check it out. Was told that she would get back to me to tell me what they found. After an hour and 1/2 she told me the bill was for $418+ I told her that that was shocking at which she changed it to $353.37. After looking over the bill back at my house I see several items I did not authorize:The brake fluid flush with a labor charge of $89.48;Brake fluid of $20.47;and the cleaning and adjusting of rear brakes and adjust emergency brake as applicable with a labor charge of $119.73. This is outrageous and I feel that I haver been "had"Desired Settlement: Since I was not consulted on the brake fluid flush and the labor cost of the rear brakes and emergency brake adjustments I should get a refund of $229.68-$89.48+20.47+119.73

Review: On December 2, 2013, I took my [redacted] in to this auto service business to find out why my car was bucking. [redacted] from Lee Hill Auto told me that I had oil leaking into the anti-freeze and that the total cost would be $1,875. I have the estimate on a Repair Order. After I e-mailed it to my father, he took the repair order to his mechanic who said the same work should be $950. In other words, Lee Hill Auto was grossly overcharging by taking parts that cost pennies and charging excessive amounts of money. I wanted a 2nd opinion and went to Affordable Automotive on [redacted] in [redacted]. They did a diagnostic for $99 and discovered that all I needed was 1.5 quarts of transmission fluid. That was the cause of the bucking. So, they filled up the transmission fluid for free. I said, "What about the supposed oil leak?" He said, "I can't tell customers they have an oil leak when they don't." I wouldn't be filing a complaint; however, my sister-in-law said this company lied to her too. In addition, my husband was in [redacted] yesterday. The employees at [redacted] see their employees all day since the businesses are right next to each other. The [redacted] employees were saying that the Lee Hill Auto Service guys are in the store all the time bragging about lying to and overcharging their customers. So, these are some major con-artists!Desired Settlement: I want these con-artists to stop selling unneeded repairs to unsuspecting customers. Their current Revdex.com rating has nothing to do with their practices, ethics, or character. In fact, it's very misleading. I think it is time to either shut them down or get new employees and management. I think people like this should be charged with a misdemeanor or felony because they are financially hurting innocent people.

Response:

The business called this morning and they stated the customer came to the shop yesterday and they talked about the main problems with the car. The main issue is that the oil is mixing with the anti-freeze. It is unclear at this point where the customer is going to get the car fixed but they did determine there was a problem and it would need to be fixed.
