Review: Did not build website on time like we requested. Website did not look or work like we requested.

Website did not look like the design they told us.

Lee marketing did not complete our website and had over two weeks to do so. After we tried to work with them they could complete the tasked we requested. The website they build was like a temporary site and had cupcakes on the gallery page. We install patio cover. Instead of displaying that on the gallery cupcakes were there. I called Lee marketing and they gave me the web developers number. I could get in touch with him. I called Kenton the owner and he said he will contact Alex. He did not do so. He couldnt get in touch with Alex. He told me he will be looking for someone else and hes loosing business because of him. I gave him a few more days and when nothing was getting done I canceled my contract. I asked for my money back and he refused. I then called my bank and recieved my money back. He sent me to collections... For what am I suppost to pay him? He did not provide any of his services to my company. He made me loose business. I had to hire another company to build my website and start all over! I got my money back already. He is trying to collect from me by sending me to collections. Collect on what? Its been over 6 months probably, I have another company im working with and cancelled own contract with Lee Marketing 2 weeks after the contract was signed. He needs to take me off collections. I have proof of when I cancelled. Desired Settlement: Stop trying to collect from me by sending collectors to me. He did not workout and he told me I can cancel anytime for the 1000 per month item. The website alone we cancelled because of him not providing what we requested.

Business' Initial Response

It has come to my attention that [redacted] is complaining about our services. In late December, [redacted] came to Lee MAG asking for help. [redacted] had been using a company that did not preform a good job of producing a website and asked us to recreate their website. The normal turn around on a good "Word Press Site" takes up to 6 weeks. Our digital director at the time promised them a site within 2 weeks. Then they asked for a temporary site and I suggested not proceeding in that manner, but [redacted] insisted.

We have signed contracts from them and we completed the second site on Friday January 11th 2013.They instantly took it down and said they wanted their money back. We have all the contracts and also all the discussion about the problems that can occur with doing a site that swiftly. However, their final product was very good and we would have made any changes they needed on the site.

[redacted]'s partner is a hot head and completely impossible to work with. The website and our Social Media efforts were more than satisfactory and in fact we delivered a very good product. To substantiate the fiscal down payment for our business relationship, [redacted] charged the payment with our business relationship, [redacted] charged the payment with our company.

After about a month, [redacted] pulled back the charge and after many months of dispute [redacted] bank would

not back our complaint because they said it was too technical. We could not provide enough proof

because the actual website in question was taken down by [redacted] We put in over 50 hours on

this project with graphics, social media, design of not one site but two. This is totally wrong for them to complain for we told them we would fix the site and our do whatever it took to have it where [redacted], [redacted]'s partner would be satisfied. However now looking at the facts [redacted]'s request was near

impossible and he wouldn't listen to me about just doing once site.

Attached are all the contracts and the two months of invoices that West Coast owes our company and

our company is within our rights to collect it. We will press this to Superior Court if need be...

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

We came to Lee Mag not to recreate our website but to build us one. At that time the company we were using went out of business and we lost our website. We did not need any recreation. We simply asked them to build us a new website and asked them for a design. We showed and emailed them examples of what we were looking for and told them we dont want cheap quality. They gave us a very nice design on a black board and we took that with us to think about the project and consider signing a contract with them. We told [redacted] the owner of Lee Mag, that we need a website withing 2 weeks. He told me thats no problem "look how much people we got working here, we will all get to work" He called his website builder "[redacted]" and asked him to start asap. [redacted] said he will have the basic design for us to start in 3 days. [redacted] was there when the digital director promised us a website withing 2 weeks. We did not ask for a temporary website. We had a temporary website already when before we asked Lee Mag to build our website. That is the excuse [redacted] is using for not having our website up in 2 weeks. The second website was suppost to be the fist one and that website they called 2nd was not on the contract too... They need to stop using excuses and learn to build websites first. The 2nd sight they build did not match the design and quality that they provided and gave to us. See attached picture of the model website they gave us. We did not instently take the website. We hired another company and showed them whats happening and they build us a website in 2 weeks. You can visit. www.[redacted].com for proof.

We were loosing thousands of dollars in sales everyday our website was not build. I called [redacted] and emailed him a list of things we need changed and have proof of what I requested. They never did as I asked on my email and after [redacted] told [redacted] my business partner " I will be honest with you [redacted], I cant get a hold of [redacted] for over a week. That was exactly his words. Why should I have to overpay and get promised a quality service and get bad quality, unprofessional customer service instead. If I wanted a cheap quality website I would get one for only 10 percent of what they wanted. They did not complete the 2nd website by the 11th, They had a template with cupcakes on the gallery images and after emailing [redacted] a list of things to change he couldn't get a hold of [redacted], his subcontractor and when the second website was up it was not a custom website but a template website with pre-gallery built in from a bakery company. We had cupcakes on the picture gallery and all pages were exactly the same. That's when Me and [redacted] both decided that this company will not complete our website to our satisfactory. We specifically told [redacted] we don't want a template website. If it took him over 2 weeks to put a template together it would take hime more that 6 weeks if that, to get the finish product done. And I don't even know if he would fix what we asked. I gave [redacted] over 20 products we specialize and provided him with Brochures of what was needed to be put in the products pages. None of that information was ever put on what he calls the second website. The 5 posts on Facebook they posted was done on my business Face Book that I opened my self and that is not Satisfactory... [redacted] states that the final product was very good. What final product? That's exactly what I mean. He calls the 2nd site a final product. Its only final when everything is done [redacted]! When all the products and details are on all product pages. Your Website subcontractor is too busy doing his own projects! I'm tired of repeating myself all the time. Your contracts you keep attaching to your emails is only legal documents that tell me what you should have done. You did not do what I asked with [redacted] and cost us thousands of dollars in sales. Yes, your right after a month we charged the payment back to us because you failed to deliver a product a month after we told you what to change. Did you stop working on our website when we cancelled on the 18 or 19th of January? I think you did that's why after a month after you didn't make any changes I asked you to do through email, we took our money back. You can provide proof to our bank. (Revdex.com please see the links below for proof of what [redacted] states is the second website and is a finished product.) [redacted] make sure you don't remove it as this is your proof! Now you look at the facts? We gave you allot of information before you started working on the website. If you needed more that two weeks and 6 weeks instead we would never signed that contract. You said it yourself that you promised 2 weeks. and your [redacted] website guy promised us 3 days. Whats going on here? We did not ask for two sites. Stop blaming [redacted] for asking that. We had a temporary site and didn't need two websites. [redacted], stop using two websites as your excuse. We have contracted with you to do only one website and the one you did was not final and not finished. What two months of invoices. The website was not done and we cancelled in two weeks on the 19th of January. You are invoicing me after I cancelled. I took all my deposit back and clearly cancelled so stop billing me. It is wrong for Lee Marketing to Invoice me for something they didn't do as promised and bill with invoices. That doesn't make any sense. I said that I have attachments but don't see were to attach them in this message. I have all proof available upon request.

Thanks,

Business' Final Response

Wet Coast Exteriors still insists on not paying even though there is a signed contract. This contract outlines all of what was to be done. We have provided invoices to prove that work was done and completed on time.
