To address the employee issue:
Afterward I spoke by phone with the customer and informed him (after verifying the facts)the technician would be terminated for acting as such
I found that the Manager had stepped in to attempt to defuse the argumentAlso (as promised) that employee does not work for us any longerWe have video and repair order documentation to verify all above statements
I don't condone any employee to be less than professional no matter what their positionAlso, I agree that It is wrong for one of my technicians to engage in any argumentEven when provoked

I do not accept because they did do work on the tranny and the shift linkage the first time the car was inAnd they changed the fluid on the tranny the second time the car was inI'm not asking for a refund for the clutch or work done that did not involve the tyrannyBut I do think they didn't do a proper repair the first time causing excess problems with the trannyThat or the tech that tried to fight me did something to the carPurposely misdiagnosed its or possibly vandalized it

After the original verbal altercation, the customer called me directly to inform me what happenedHe asked that that employee be firedAfter reviewing the facts, regardless of the cicumstances of why they were arguing, I found it inexcusableAlthough that technician is experienced and ASE Certified, he was indeed fired as the customer requested
Allthough I tried to explain in my first response, it's difficult to explain without understanding the technical nature of these repairsSince the transmission was never disassembled by us previously, It's not possible to make a manual transmission fail internally, even with a fluid change
The shift linkage is an external repairThe tailshaft is an external bolt on pieceThe clutch is the sameThe fluid was blackThe transmission currently requires an internal repairNot uncommon in a car with over 150,miles

Because they are out to bleed people of there money, stating they need repair after repairWhen if they would have fixed the real problem the first time it would have saved me moneyInstead they choose to not fix the real issues that was causing all the other issuesThey did not diagnose the transmission correctly or they did and decided to bleed me as much as they could prior to fixing the real issueThere employee that threatened me is a representation of there business and the way the owner feels about his customersIf I did not make it public the employee would still be thereI will do everything in my power to expose the dishonesty and disrespect inside this company
