We have used Viox for windows and doors multiple timesThey have always been professional and provided quality workWhen there has been concerns they were addressed in a timely fashion

I am rejecting this response because: The adult male who dropped off my tuck was my father *** *** and why would you offer him parts if he just dropping off the truck? the man who picked up the truck was *** ***, and was not offered any parts that were removed from the truck after the repairs you claim to have made nor was there any information regards to a day warrantyI was given the same 1 receipt you attached which doesn't state anything about a warranty

Revdex.com: In May, 2015 I fixed Ms. [redacted]’s 1999 GMC Sonoma. Her truck has a hard time to start. We checked the truck and the spark plug wires did not have spark so we replace the crankshaft senor and ignition module which are used and bought from [redacted]. The...

truck started fine after I finished the repair, and not hear from any complaints until now, after 7 months of my repair. But after a 7 month period there is something bound to happen to the truck. It is highly it is a new problem because over 7 months it is possible for a new mechanical dysfunctions to occur and the driver will experience these difficulties. Unfortunately this happened to Ms. [redacted] but the new problem she is experiencing is not related nor connected to my previous repair I did on May 2015 which was seven months ago, She claims another mechanic told her so I could talk to him about the truck and I do not know what other mechanic did to the truck. She should have brought the care to me instead of the other mechanic. And lastly, any car will experience any problem regards of weather, the problem will still be there; the weather has nothing to do with the car starting and not starting. If there is a new problem with the truck, the problem will still be there until it is repaired the hot or cold weather has nothing to do with the problem. Warm Regards, Jose’s Auto Repair

I am rejecting this response because: On 12/30/15 Jose submitted a response stating, that 7 months after repairing my 1999 Sonoma truck "something was bound to happen". Jose was correct, my truck did not start because of a repair that was not made or properly preformed. Exactly 7 months after paying Jose in full for his temporary repairs I was informed by another mechanic that the truck was not repaired and in fact was encountering the exact same problem Jose claimed he fixed.    Jose verbally stated to me that the ignition module was replaced and that my truck was currently experiencing new mechanical issues related to something other than the repairs made by him. This accusations was proven to be false when it was discovered by another mechanic that the original ignition module was in fact "untouched and still intact".  Jose failed to provide any type of service agreement including a (7 month guarantee) upon the competition of his work. I have yet to receive any information regarding a"7 month" expiration on the services provided by Jose's Auto Repair. Please note that not only was Jose dishonest in his attempts to repair my truck and correct any related issues, but he has also dealt with me in a hostel and unprofessional manner. It is my hope that the Revdex.com will assist in retrieving what is owed to me and prevent other consumers from being a victim of Jose's Auto Repair fraud and unprofessional services.

Review: On July 6 I went into JL Nails to have my eye brows groomed. The charge was $8.00. I authorized the $8.00 plus $2.00 for a tip. I was given a receipt to sign, which I did, but they never gave me a copy of the receipt. A few days later on July 11, I was going over my bank statement, and saw that JL Nails had put through a charge of $28.00 to my bank. I went to JL nails with a statement from my bank showing the charge of $28.00. I was told there was no one there who could help me, and that the manager would call me. I never received a call from the manager about resolving this issue, so I went back. I was told it would be taken care of by the 13, still nothing. I went back on the 14, finally one of the girls at JL Nails called the manager or owner on her cell phone, and let me talk to her. She said mistakes were made, and my money would be back into my account on July 14 by 11 0'clock, but of coarse, it was not. I visited JL Nails at least four times trying to get them to do the right thing. I finally went back to my bank on the 15, and started a complaint, as JL Nails seems to think if they ignore me long enough, I will just let it go, but I will not do that.Desired Settlement: I want JL Nails to credit the over charge of $18.00 back to my account.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: I went in for a Brazilian wax. I asked how much they were he didn't give me a direct amount he said, "$20, $25, $30"? [redacted], I believe, he is an older Asian gentleman. He had a wax looking pen where you roll onto the skin(this pen was about 1/2 an inch and the strips of cloth were even smaller). He hadn't changed the roller top. He didn't successfully remove my pubic hairs (he claimed they were too thick). It was literally swollen for a whole day and a half and my private area was extremely sensitive to the touch. My wax was unsuccessful and bloody. This man not only left patches still not properly waxed but he suggested SHAVING those areas. SHAVING? How is that sanitary? How many body areas has he shaved with that?!I don't have pictures of my private part to show how swollen it was, but I do have pictures of his "waxing" area and the razor just laying on the counter. Also, I had a couple ingrown hairs due to his "waxing" skills. I went back to his salon and I politely asked him if I could get my refund because I wasn't happy and my private area was still swollen and he was so rude to me. He said I was being difficult and to not go to his salon if I wasn't happy. Well, I will never again, but what he did to me was unfair and not sanitary. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: His license should be revoked and if possible, I would like my refund of $32. [redacted]. Thank you for your time.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

This place is charging people for gel manicures and actually giving acrylic. I went in on [redacted] and asked for a gel fill which I have been getting for years. I only went to this place because nowhere else was open. She filed all my nails and then pulled out a powder that had "gel powder" hand written on the top. I said no I do not want that I want uv gel and she lied to me saying it was a gel powder. There is no such thing as gel powder! I had no choice but to let her put this on my nails since they were filed down to nothing. Gel needs to be cured under the uv light and she did not ask me to put my nails under a light so that is another confirmation that she used acrylic. After she filled them she put a coat of gel nail polish over the acrylic which is completely different. She then painted them and then pulled out clear nail polish. I said no I want the gel on top like my nail salon does and she told me that that is not how they do it there. I was so angry that she was lying to me like I was stupid. This is actually the second time that this place has done this to me. About two years ago I went there and was just getting acrylic and they kept pushing me to get the gel, I had no idea what the difference was at that point, so I agreed. She pulled out the powder then as well and when I asked she gave me the same answer that it was gel powder. That women gave me a top coat of gel polish. When I went back to my normal nail place I asked about the gel powder and they told me there is no such thing and then they looked at my nails and sanded them and told me they could tell by the smell alone that it was acrylic. This should be against the law to lie to people about the service you are providing as well as charging people for something they are not getting. These people are also very rude and pushy trying to force people to upgrade on all services and do not take no for an answer if someone refuses to upgrade.Product_Or_Service: gel nail fillDesired SettlementI want a full refund and I want this investigated. They should be fined and shut down! I looked at all the tables and I did not see one container of actual UV gel in the entire place so I know that they must be doing this to other people as well. A gel fill is between [redacted] so they are making a killing off of people by charging for the gel and giving them acrylic.
