To Whom It May Concern:Thank you for reaching out regarding this complaint about the business.First and foremost, we are appalled this particular customer had filed a complaint against ourstoreWe have been cooperative and even refunded for a brand new dress they had purchasedafter the incident, not to mention new alternation cost that they demanded.Here are the facts I have gathered regarding this indecent: on 7/16/2016, the customer droppedoff her wedding dress to shorten the hem for the front and the sides, she requested to leave thetrain of the dress aloneI had her put on the dress to pin up the exact places she requestedwhich she had confirmed at the time.Customer came in to pick up her dress on 9/1, just a couple of minutes before closing timeShedid not open the garment to check the work, she thanked me and left with the dressThe nextday, she contacted me on the phoneShe had stated that she was not happy with my work onthe bottom hem so she was going to stop by my store in the afternoonShe came in with herfiance and her mother while I was working alone in the store at the timeThey did not comeinto discuss how they were not happy with the work or how to fix the problemIt quicklybecame a very threatening tone from them and I started to feel very intimidatedTheir threats torefund for the dress included reporting me to Revdex.com and telling all their friends and lawyersI donot speak perfect English and was concerned for my safety, I asked them to return when myManager Karil is at the store the next dayThey came back the next day and spoke with myManager KarilKaril had offered to the hem for them but they stated they can't trust ourwork anymore and they once again threatened to sue us for the dressThey were adamantabout the dress being completely ruined and wanted me to pay for the dressI had asked for thereceipt of the dress, customer's mother stated they no longer have the receipt as the dress waspurchased over five years ago (but the customer initially told me it was only purchased a monthago)In any case, I felt the best way to resolve the situation is to offer to pay for the dressAt this point, we were unable to conduct business in the store or service other customersI offeredthat I will pay for the new dress with similar style and price rangeWithin three hours, theywere back with a new dress receipt for $747.01, which was far more expensive than the initialdressInitial dress had a price tag (again, no receipt was provided) that showed $butcrossed out to show the sale price of $which they had crossed out as it was not on sale.Even then, I wrote a check for them for the new dress, plus $refund for my alterationscharge which totals $Then they said I have to give them another $so they can takethe new dress and pay someone else to shorten the hemI initial told them I cannot pay for thatbut they continued to threaten to report me to Revdex.com, bad reviews online, and to contact lawyersto sue meThis continued through the next day, and I reluctantly gave them another check for$just so that I can say that I've been cooperative with their request 100% and in everyway possible.I have never been in such hostile situation in my years in this business, but all I wanted towas to do all I can to help them outEven then they had filed a complaint against me and mybusiness which I cannot apprehendI have honored every request they have made, I don'tunderstand what more I could have done to alleviate the circumstance.Thank you for your time and consideration,Jane L**OwnerLee's Dry Cleaners
