This customer has been coming to my dry cleaners only a few times a yearWhen he arrived at the cleaners, he brought a few clothing items with him and then he went back to his car and
brought out a suit that I did not recognizeThere was no tag on the suit, however, I label all items with a tag when they are put into my computer systemThis customer did not say anything about the suit before but just randomly brought it in the day he was dropping off his other clothing itemsMy family has run this dry cleaner before and I have owned it for years, a total about yearsWe are a neighborhood friendly cleaner, and if I had evidence or proof brought in that I was responsible, I would be able to make a settlement with the customer, but he did not bring anything to prove that Cherry Hills cleaner was responsibleand I am the only one working at the cashier, therefore I am very close with my customers and usually know what kind of clothing they bring inI have never received a claim about such problems regarding "bubbling" or any suit damageI can recognize most clothing items that I have cleaned, but when I received this suit, it was my first time seeing itI believe that the customer might have brought it into a different cleaner and mistaken that it was done here There were other customers in line while this customer kept on complaining about the suit and I did not want to argue and bother the other people in line, therefore I offered $store credit as a settlementA receipt is given when the customer comes to pick up, but the customer did not bring any tag nor receipt to confirm that my dry cleaner was responsible for the damageI also did not recognize dry cleaning the suit and cannot find it anywhere in our systemAlso, the customer made a specific complaint on the chemicals our dry cleaner uses, however we use one of the top cleaning oils and chemicalsWe can send you the specific names of the chemicals used if you would likeWe have also replaced all our dry cleaning machines to new machines in We rarely hear complaints from any of our customers and this is the first time this has happenedWe have dry cleaned suits before and no one has had this problemTherefore, since I have no memory of cleaning this suit and the customer has no evidence that we were responsible of this suit and is nowhere in our system, we can not give a refund of $in cashThe customer states that even $is a small fraction of what the customer has brought into our dry cleaner, but there were no damages done to any of the customer's previous clothing items, therefore, it does not matter if it is only a fraction of what the customer has brought into our cleaner

The business's response contains several inaccuraciesI am an attorney and I have visited this dry cleaner exclusively for the past year and a halfI only have two suits, a blue one and a gray one, and I rather frequently dropped them off at Cherry Hills Cleaners for dry cleaningIn fact, I would typically only wear a suit once before I dry cleaned it againI have several credit cards showing charges from this business that I can provideIn fact, I have attached a screen capture from one of my Chase credit cards showing that I went to this business five times in November and December aloneThis damaged suit was cleaned numerous times by Cherry Hills, and only by Cherry HillsI only went to Cherry Hills and no other cleaner because of the business's proximity to my house a few blocks awayMy other credit cards will also show numerous charges by this business for dry cleaningI have attached screen captures from two other cards showing charges spanning and I have several other cards that would also show charges
In response to the other inaccuracies stated by MrLee, there were in fact no other customers in line when he offered the $store credit as a settlementFurther, I have no interest in store credit because I do not trust the business with my clothing any longerA $cash settlement is reasonable in light of the fact that the suit cost $600, and is only two years old(cherry hills)

I have dry cleaned clothing for more than yearsMany of my family owns different cleaners in Colorado and I have a lot of experience with dry cleaning suits and other high end clothingWe have dry cleaned many suits and expensive clothing and we have never gotten a problem like this.At our cleaners, our dry cleaning machines clean more than pieces of clothing of the same color at once and we have never gotten a complaint about suit damageIf your suit was dry cleaned at our cleaners we would have gotten a complain from other customers that had their suit in the same loadIt makes no sense that out of all the other suits in the load, your suit would be the only one with bubblingAlthough I have no memory of dry cleaning this suit, if it was damaged we would have gotten more complaints from other people about damage to their suit, but we never didThe customer did not bring any receipt or tag with the piece of clothing to prove that we did itWhen the customer brought in the suit it was not in the dry cleaning bag that we usually wrap our clothing in nor did it have a tag attached therefore the customer cannot accuse of us of this problemThere are also images attached that show the new machines and chemicals that we useThe machine is the newest model and a high quality washerWe use premium chemicals and are very careful of the products we use to wash our customer's clothingWe feel sorry that your suit was damaged and understand that you are upset, but we have no memory of washing this suit, nor is it in our system and there's no tag or any proof that it was done by our cleaners (image1)
