Leek American Bistro

Review: Leek American Bistro does not state on their menu that they add 20% automatic gratuity to all checks, regardless of the party size. The waiter, who posed as the owner, was incredibly rude when asked about the automatic gratuity added for a party of two. He then went into the kitchen and began yelling obscenities that were audible from the dining room. When asked his name, the indignant waiter would not provide it. When asked for a manager, he stated that he was the manager and that he was in fact the owner. The actual owner of the establishment is a well known area chef, and this man was not him. He then yelled at customers to leave the restaurant and never to return, also including some obscenities.Desired Settlement: They should notify customers of the "gratuity" charge that is going to be added to their bill. It is unacceptable and dishonest to try to sneak a charge onto a diner's bill when it is not posted anywhere on the menu or on visible signage. It is also unacceptable to yell foul language in a public place.
