Review: I needed immediate help for my truck that stopped suddenly in a traffic light, I towed it to the nearest ( 50ft) Auto repair shop Lee's Auto Center and was diagnosed with failed transmission, I got a quota from the tec for a transmission replacement for about $3000 and another quote for l replacement labor only (terms were that I will find a used transmission and they will install it) for $600 labor only.

I agreed and started to look for a used transmission with the local shops when Lee's auto center rep called and said I need to pay for some sort of filter service.

Later at the shop I realized they have preformed an oil change and filter change for the old transmission (the one that needed complete replacement and they handed me the bill for $567.43 for service I didn't want or need, I paid them relentlessly because they pressured me $67.43 with my debit card and the rest in cash and then I had to pay another $150 to tow the truck again (it was not fixed),my truck is still not driving and I believe it was an improper repair that was meant to charge me wrongfully with ridiculous amount for a minor repair.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete FULL refund of the cash I paid and the amount I paid with my debit card and I would also like a refund for the amount of $150 for the second towing of the truck once the truck was not fixed.

We here at Lee's auto center humble servant of the public, serving with legendary Excellency for thirteen years plus, deeply regret any inconvenience you are experiencing due to your own negligence and your unwillingness to do the job right, one time, the first time .

After helping you to get out of harm's way by providing you with a very rapid and responsive towing company phone number, because you was stuck dangerously at a very busy street blocking traffic, you had us diagnose you're truck, because it would accelerate but not move at all, after a very intense and accurate diagnostic (lhr.), we found out that you had a badly damaged transmission due to : no trans fluid in your transmission,(not a drop of oil showed on dipstick); which after close examination was determined a long time big leak in your, over 270 thousand hard miles vehicle transmission pan gasket.

Mr. Owner of the NPR truck. We here at LEE'S had advised you to a "good Used" transmission or a newly rebuilt one, which would run you at $3000.00 dollars in a worst case scenario, this price is pretty competitive and reasonable in the industry.

You did not want to spend the quoted price mentioned above, so as per your conversation with somebody advising you on the other side of your cell phone line,(perhaps your regular mechanic). Consequently you suggested the transmission filter and gasket that were evidently leaking. (By the looks of it, for a very long time) find, this was your own gross negligence. Failing to properly service work vehicles.

As per your request you wanted a transmission filter and gasket replaced in hopes that "you might just get lucky ". Naturally here at Lee's we aim to please our patrons request and did so with much care and Excellency.

Therefore Mr. Owner of the NPR truck, we cannot give you a refund for work that was performed at you request, when my advice was a better choice (to get a good used unit or newly rebuilt one.) and you sir declined the voice of wisdom.

We are sorry for your gross treatment and negligence of your own equipment, but you will not push or bully us, to take advantage of us, by misinforming the industry established mediators such as the Revdex.com, into giving you a refund fori something you requested even after helping you out of harm's way and putting you atop of other prior obligations, also a free diagnostic.

We would like a written or verbal apology.
