Lee's Counter Tapps Tops Reviews (5)

Representatives from Lee’s
Counter Tapps Tops, George and Ron, met with Mrs. [redacted] on Friday November
13,2015 @ 9:00am to hear her concerns and make a determination in this matter.
She indicates that the color she saw on the web site and the one George showed
her are different. They showed...

her a copy of the color (computer / web site
print out and oversized sample) and assured her that the color we made was the
same as what she picked out.  She does not completely agree with this and
seems to think the web site and sample she saw at time of sale misrepresents
the actual color she wanted. She indicated that the installer and salesperson
treated her well during the process. Her son inquired as to what it would take
to change the color of her tops and was told that the offer that had been
previously made stands ($550) to “help” offset the costs since our company has
honored all of its commitments. Mrs. [redacted] and son had a private meeting,
she then returned and stated that her son was offering to pay for the change in
color but she declines. She indicated that she would keep the countertops as
is, understanding that finalization of the install process still remained. As a
good faith effort, she was offered and accepted a $221 price reduction (cost of
install) with the understanding that this in no way is an admission of guilt or
wrong doing by this company. We completed  the installation today,
November 18,2015 and the balance due will be $688.54.

it is True Ron and George came here, with a copy of the Revdex.com complaint I had written.  I ask my son to be here due to the rude way I had been treated.  My son did offer to pay for
a different counter, the one George told me to pick out, not anything I had demanded.  I wanted the color I picked and I did not get it.  I refused for my son to pay it, he was only
offering because he knew how upset I was.  He cannot afford the extra cost for their mistake either.   Then to add to the rudeness,  a lady called from Lee's and ask me when I
was going to pay the balance,  I told her I had called and ask for a bill with the 689. bal   I only had a bill with the 900 amount.  Since I have not reason to trust them. They could
come back and say I did not pay enough.   She said she sent me a new bill by email,  I told her I did not receive it.  She said you must have.  She said she would send it again.
a week later she called , very rude when I told her I still don't have a new bill.  She demanded payment, said  She was going to mail me one.  She ask me to pay it now over
phone with a cc.  I said No, not till I get a corrected bill.   I told her to mail one, and she said she would.   Later that day I looked on my paper work from them and they have
the wrong email address  written. She must have emailed to the wrong email.   I tried to call back and tell her that she was so rude to me, when it was her fault.  The girl that
answered the phone came back and said she is getting ready to clock out for the day so she couldn't talk to me.  This was a 3:10 pm.  She just did not want to talk to me.
So again, I was treated so rudely by another member of the Lee's crew.   I feel their answer to my complaint was in no way met, and my disclaimer , as they did, that I
am not considering the lowered price as any compensation for me not getting the top I ordered.

Review: I saved for 3 yrs to get a new countertop in my kitchen, I am disabled and a senior, living on SS pay only. I ordered a

countertop from Lee's on the 9th of Oct. and George that was here measuring Sold it to me, I was on their website and showed him what I wanted it was a marble with grey and tans in it , which matched my carpeting. He then ask me what finish I wanted, I said glossy, but he said that cost more, the next one down, he could get me at no extra cost and it was not matte , it was just a little glossy. I ask him if his company will take care of any problems because I have a disease that effects my nerves and getting upset could put me in the hospital. He said , No problem they will fix any problem. (That was a Lie) They came out on Nov, 4th to put in the counter, which was suppose to be 2 weeks , but I was so excited to get it, I didn't bug them about 4 weeks. Fred was the installer, with a helper, he came in took the old one out and the sink and stove, and then brought in the counter top. The minute I saw it, I told him this is not the same. I got it on the computer and showed him and he agreed that it was not the same. I was upset and shaking already, but Fred said they would fix it, he talked to George and George said he would come out the next day, he had me pick a different color, because he said he can't explain why it was different. So I did, That was on the 6th of Nov. On Monday the 9th he called me and said the only way they will

make a new counter top is if I pay an extra $550.00, I ask why am I paying for your mistake, he said it was Formica's mistake not his. He said call and complain to Formica. Well, I have no more money, I ask him why he is changing now , he told me they would take care of it. He said his boss told him that's the only way is for me to pay more.

I know it is not their fault that I am sick, but that is why I ask them ahead of time if they took care of problems, because I could not afford to get upset, it causes so much pain. Fred had put the one he had brought in with just a few nails, he said so he could get me a stove and sink. So it is not installed, I gave them $950.00 which they got on the 11th of Oct. The total job is 1859.54. So I let the conversation with George that I could not pay anymore money I had no more, but it is wrong of them to charge me for their mistake, he said he would have Chris their contractor call to get this one installed. The wrong one.Desired Settlement: Since they could not produce the color I picked, then had me pick another color, I want that one at no additional charge, there is no difference in price between the 2 Formica's.
