Review: Today's date: 8/**/13On May *, 2013, my husband and I contracted with Lee's Stone to install new cupboards in our kitchen. Made 2 payments in advance, and paid balance on day of installation in July. However, the 2 installers did much damage to our newly sheetrocked walls and fresh paint during the installation, and because they did not speak or understand English (spoke only Chinese), I could not make them understand that they must fix the damage (dents, scratches, marks, gouges in the wall, holes, etc.) before leaving. But the damage was sufficient that we had to call in a contractor to complete and his charge was $140. We then contacted [redacted], our salesman at Lee's, for reimbursement and sent him multiple pictures of proof of the damage via email on Aug. *. We never had a reply, so today I contacted [redacted] by phone, and he informed me that he had spoken with his manager, and they refused to reimburse us for the damage. Although I was angry, I remained calm but did clearly state that if we did not receive reimbursement, we would make a formal complaint with the Revdex.com. This did not phase him at all.......His reply was "Go ahead." So I immediately began to file my complaint on line with you, and within minutes, I received a call from [redacted] asking if we had already done the repairs? Apparently, they must've felt some sort of responsibility because they said if we hadn't done the repairs, they would've sent someone out to do them. I found this odd because when I originally informed them of the damage (via a phone call on Thursday, August *), they showed no interest or concern.Desired Settlement: We are simply asking for a settlement of the repair bill of $140 - - nothing else. We have a receipt from the contractor for this amount, and can also provide you multiple pictures of the damage, if you desire.
