This is a response to the letter from the Revdex.com stating the complaint by [redacted] The Station Auto Wash is a high end car wash and detailing facility that has been operating in northern Virginia for fifteen yearsWhen a customer approaches a member of management with a concern, due diligence is taken to address the matterIn the event there is an issue with a vehicle on site, The Station Auto Wash works with the customer to resolve the matter in a timely fashion.The vehicle in discussion was serviced on January 15" and left the propertyLater that day, [redacted] returned stating she noticed scratches on the screen on her [redacted] ***The general manager took a report and began to investigate the claimIt is company policy for employees not to wear jewelry, use clean towels on each car and to use caution when cleaning console areasThe general manager immediately verified those policies were being followedThe employee that cleaned the car in question has been Working for the Company for ten years and has gone through extensive trainingIn addition, members of management reviewed the camera system and saw nothing that indicated the damage occurred during the cleaning processFurthermore, research was done with online forums and websites in the automotive industryThis research revealed, due to the placement of the screen, being the furthermost point on the Console, the design makes the screen prone to scratchesThe scratches are Said to be coming from moving purses, bags and similar items from the driver's area upon entry to the passenger SeatMaking it Susceptible to scratches from buckles, buttons, etcDuring the investigation period, other vehicles were monitored prior to the cleaning process and similar horizontal scratches were presentResearch on this case by The Station Auto Wash was very extensive and spanned over a week's timeAll members of management were involved and at no time were there any question that this may have happened during the cleaning process nor is there any indicating evidenceThe Station Auto Wash acted in a professional manner, offered assistance as an accommodation, but denied to pay to replace the ScreenOn the Vehicle.If you have additional questions, please contact me.Sincerely,Aaron M [redacted]
