Review: We hired Leffingwell Pools to install stairs, a new liner, convert chlorine system to salt water system, install diving board, install lights, run new water lines to where the salt water system will be housed, install a new pool cover, and all the hardware and other necessary parts to complete the job. [redacted] Leffingwell told us it should take a couple of weeks to do the work. We met with him in June and scheduled the work to begin on July 16, 2013. [redacted] Leffingwell asked for a deposit of $14,800. We thought that was a lot of money for a deposit but [redacted] said he needed to order the parts so we complied. It is 12/5/13. the work is not done. When [redacted] was returning our calls he told us he had a lot of pool closings to do & that is why he couldn't get to our house to work. One day a Leffingwell truck pulled up and the guy sat in his truck for 2 hours. He told my husband he couldn't start the work without [redacted] and he was waiting for [redacted], after two hours the guy left. When workers showed up to install the pool steps, my husband questioned them on the poor quality work they were doing. My husband found out that they were not Leffingwell employees but a contracted service that had not done that type of work before. [redacted] Leffingwell would tell us he is "coming tomorrow" and a month would go by and we would not see or hear from anyone. We figured since he needed our money to order the parts, my husband would go to the showroom and pick up all the parts that were paid for but not installed yet. First trip, my husband and an employee looked in all the storage buildings at the showroom and our equipment was not there. My husband received a call from [redacted] to say that our parts were there on 12/4/13. My husband went to the showroom only to be told that [redacted] was not there and [redacted] Leffingwell had our parts on his truck. [redacted] Leffingwell, [redacted], and other Leffingwell employees have lied to us and given us the run around for too long.Desired Settlement: [redacted] Leffingwell has not completed the work as promised and continues to make promises he doesn't keep. We want a refund of $14,800 so we can hire someone else to do the job.

Review: I ordered a pool liner and stairs for my in ground pool through Leffingwell pools. I paid them half of the total amount owed at that time(june 25 2015). I was told liner will be put in 2-3 weeks from that time. took him over 5 weeks to get to my house to start putting stairs together and putting in new liner. it was a rushed job because he knew my sons birthday was that weekend and I needed the pool finished. The and stairs were put in but I was missing track in some spots so he said he was unable to finish at that time and would be back to finish the job in a few days after the party. I have called and stopped by the store numerous time to get him back over to finish the pool. In September my pool was still not finished yet I needed to close it so he offered to close my pool for me at no cost if I wait a while longer. Now it is December and my pool liner is still not finished and not closed. William Leffingwell has stopped returning my calls and textsDesired Settlement: reimbursement to have another company finish the job, close my pool and the stress of having to go to small claims court.

Review: I signed a contract to have a pool liner installed between 6/1/14 to 6/10/14. Liner was installed on 6/14/14. Within a coupe of days the liner slipped out of its track in two (2) places. I had made repeated phone calls and e-mails to [redacted] to please come back to fix the liner. [redacted] finally came Monday night 6/30/14 around 8:00 pm at this time he only could fix one (1) area and said he would be back on Wednesday night July 2nd with help to fix the other area of the slipped liner. He was a No Show on 7/2/14. I again called his business asking him to please come back and fix my liner. He said he would be at my house on (again) Wednesday night 7/9/14. Again he was a No Show! If you could please contact [redacted] at Leffingwell Pools LLC ###-###-#### Ct License #HIC[redacted] to fix my pool liner I would appreciate it!Desired Settlement: Need [redacted] to fix my pool liner.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Here it is June 27th and new liner DOES NOT fit so a new liner is required ! Another waiting period !!! I don't think they will make June 30th deadline but they have not met any of the contract agreements so what else is new !
