Me and my roommate moved into these apartments in February and immediately noticed that our apartments had mice within itWe contacted the office and told them about the problem and they had OPC come out and treat and set up trapsThey told us that they found multiple holes behind our sink and stove which is were they believed the mice were coming in atWe noticed about a week later that there were mice droppings in our dish drain and cabinets which caused us to have to throw dishes awayWe contacted the office again and they told us we would have to wait until OPC was coming back out which was going to be a week laterThey came and treated again but we saw the mice run across the counter not even a day laterAbout a week after that we noticed the problem had moved upstairs and called the office againThey came back out and noticed there were also holes under the sink in the upstairs bathroomBefore moving in we were told they had a lot of issues that were supposed to be f
This is the second apartment (#3)that the have moved us into the first one had electrical issues that ultimately resulted in a electrical fire that destroyed my home causing them to place us in a new apartmentThe second apartment they have placed my family into is roach infested, drafty, and now has not had heat for since Sunday (1/14/18)We have notified them numerous times from the very first time we moved in bout the issue and they just push it to the side, stating they’ll get back to us and never doI have two small children in the home and it has been in the single digits at night and not much higher during the dayThis is a basement supposedly upgraded apartmentHowever they do not seem to care since this does not directly effect themThey brought one small space heater late Sunday night that wouldn’t heat a room adequately let alone a two bedroom apartmentI can’t leave it one at night as it is a fire hazard also whenever we plug it in it blows the fuses in our who
Since moving into these apartments, our kitchen has flooded atleast times, including times with human fecesour stove burner exploded, weeks ago no one will fix itWe were promised the windows and doors would be replaced bc the previous residents liquid glued the windows shut and the door torn up by dogsafter a year, still nothingWe have gotten cockroaches and bed bugs from the other residents, along with smelling the neighbors drugs through our air vents in which our *** can smell alsoTheres crimes going on constantly and we pay around per month for rentAlot of other residents have complaints as well, thid doesnt conclude all the problemsWe just want out but they want too far notice and money we have to abandon the property and thow everything we own out to rid the bed bugsWe have tried everything and they keep coming backWe habe pictures of all the infested furniture residents have thrown outI did report it and they said theyd do an inspection and
Currently living at the oaks of standrews the worst place I have ever stayed leaking bathroom ceiling, mold, mice and a electricall box that hums Management is a joke do not try to repair issues until you call Moving out asap paying excessive to much rent suppose to be when they finish adding all the fees it is or more per month When inquired about renting here was told that rent would +per month only to discover it was much more when asked about breaking lease was told that we would have to pay I guess we suppose to live with the issues Also for month of March claim that I was given a day notice on March normally its after the 5th you are given a days notice never received either received an eviction notice on the 12th
We signed a lease for an exact address for October 15th, The week before we were suppose to move in they called and told us that the apartment we were planning to move into the resident had pushed their move out date back and decided to extend their lease, that they had other apartments available for different prices and different move in dates but we could not take those apartments because we had to be out of the place we were at by the 15th, and the price was not the sameWe told them that and told them we wanted our deposit back but they proceeded to tell us the deposit was no refundableWe did not get to move in because they broke our lease and they won't give us our money back
