Legacy Auto SalesOhio PikeCincinnati OH First we would like to state that [redacted] was not on the contract, nor was she here when we signed the agreement So everything in here is here say at best[redacted] bought a vehicle from us on 4/9/ He returned it the next day and said that he no longer wanted it He wanted his money back I showed him the papers that he signed saying [redacted] is the Company he went through and they let him know that they would take him to court cause he all ready signed there documents He did not contact us and he finally picked it up on 4-19- In this time he has written us two bad checks that we didn't prosecute for and it took them over a month to get them paid in full Because he canceled the deal w us the day after purchase, we had to sign new power of attorney documents, odometer statement, and he took till 5-4-to actually sign the documents. At that time we went to do the title work and there was a problem w it from the person who traded in the vehicle to us We immediately called her and had her get it fixed It was fixed on 5-21-and we turned it over to them on 5-21-It took them four days to pick it up from us Also they called and asked for tax id, never said what for and they needed the vehicle sales tax idSo we gave them exactly what they asked for. When he came in to make his last check good, he told us that he had a job selling cars, and he got a demo car, so he wasn't worried about it because the car just sat parked all the time anywaysHe told me this on three different occasions when I said I could get him a hardship take at bmvAt that time he said he didn't need a hardship tag and it wasn't n big deaB**Legacy Emp

Legacy Auto Sales[redacted]     I am writing this in response to a complaint that was filed against us the ID Number is [redacted].We sold [redacted] a truck on 8/19/2015 in good faith. The vehicle had just passed PA state inspection on May 26th of...

2015 and now has 314 miles since it was inspected.  For inspection the truck needed front brakes and rotors, which were replaced. Also the check engine light was on but not an inspection related item, however we also had that replaced, it was an oxygen sensor on bank two. In addition the air bag light was on that was also fixed and again not related to inspection. We do these things so are cars are correct. The customer did call me on 8/21/2015 and told me he took the truck to his mechanic and he said it was junk the frame was rotted out and the brake lines were bad. I informed him if the frame is bad that is a problem and asked how bad it was and asked for pictures ( which he never sent). In talking with him  further he explained the frame was not really rotted out, but it did have rust on it. So I explained to him the truck is 10 years old maybe 11 depending when it was sold new. We are up north in Erie Pa it snows all the time we have a lot of salt 10 year old frames do have rust on them. That is even normal for a 3 year old truck much less an 10 year old truck. then we moved on to the brake line that was supposed to be bad I informed him that if it was leaking I would take care of that ( again it is as is and was explained to him in great detail) but I felt it was the right thing to do. He was going to send me pictures that he never did. the only thing this customer wants is his money back. to which I'm not going to do. I will send all copies of work performed and again if the truck was unsafe it would not have passed inspection. At this point the customer bought a 66000 mile 10 year old truck that is AS IS  that runs and drives great with a new PA  inspection.     Thanks for your time.                                     ... +1

Review: On August 19th 2015 I purchase a vehicle from this company. When I took the vehicle to my personal mechanic on August 20th 2015, I was informed of the safety issues pertaining to the vehicle. The vehicle is unsafe for driving. The dealership informed us the vehicle was sold "as is" and would not refund my money.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount I purchased for the vehicle, plus the taxes and tags fees, and travel expenses refunded.
