I sent $495 to this company and planned on taking a course. I have not been able to schedule a time to take a course and the company is telling me they will not refund my money.Desired SettlementI would like a full refund. Business Response Our refund policy states a student's tuition expires after six months from when they registered. Mr. [redacted] tuition expired on 2/8/2015. Because Mr. [redacted] expressed interested in going to a future workshop, we extended his tuition for another six months. However, we were not refunding his tuition.Consumer Response Your refund policy could state that you would take my 1st born if I don't attend your class. It is unconstitutional for a business to keep monies that they have not earned. Final Business Response Our refund policy makes no claim to your 1st born. Nothing about our policy is unconstitutional.REFUND POLICYAll requests for refunds must be submitted in writing.A portion of your tuition ($200) for any workshop or workshop package is non-refundable and non-transferable. All workshops and workshop packages are non-refundable once any portion of the workshop or package has been attended.Workshops and workshop packages may be rescheduled to be attended within six months after registering; your tuition expires after that time period.Refunds are normally processed within 4 weeks. The refund or credit will be given through the original method of payment and to the person who originally paid the tuition. Please see...http:/[redacted]

Refund not given per agreementMy partner ([redacted] registered for a workshop on 10/25/2013 for at fee of [redacted] paid over the phone by debit card via our [redacted] account. At that time she was told by [redacted] that her full tuition would be reimbursed if once she spoke to her physician, the Dr did not approve her attendance to the workshop. [redacted] suffers from [redacted]After attending a physician's appoint, the Dr. recommended against the program due to health reasons [redacted] When contacted for a refund we were told that [redacted] no longer handled enrollment for Legacy, and the accountant [redacted] said that we would receive a refund within 14 days. It has now been over a month. When contacted today, we were told that [redacted] the new enrollment coordinator indicated they would be keeping $200. Additionally, the workshop was cancelled due to lack of attendance. We did not sign a contract of any type nor did we receive any written documentation indicating that the full amount would not be refunded if the Dr refused to sign a release for [redacted] to attend the workshop.Desired SettlementA full refund of $1295.00 my account within the next 5 working days.Receive Business Response XXXX-XX-XXThank you for your efforts to resolve this with our customer. As we told Ms. [redacted] we have refunded her tuition less the non-refundable deposit. This is our standard tuition policy. Ms. [redacted] has said that she did not communicate that there would be a full refund. When Ms. [redacted] called, she expressed desire to attend in 3-6 months, and we told her that the deposit would still apply at that time. She later asked for a refund. All this was well before we rescheduled our course. Consumer Response I find it distasteful that this organization is taking advantage of someone suffering from [redacted] that came to them looking for assistance. We were told several times within the context of the conversation that attendance was contingent on a physician signing a release for [redacted]. Why would we agree to having them debit our account prior to physician release if we were told that we would lose $200.00. The money was debited from our account many days prior to the proposed start of the workshop, had we been told that we would lose a considerable amount of money, we would have waited. I thank the Revdex.com for their efforts to resolve this matter and will take other action to resolve this and to protect others who may engage with this group in the future.Business Response In reviewing this situation, we have reconsidered our response. Clearly, there was confusion over what was communicated in regards to our refund policy. Given the circumstances for [redacted] we have completed the full refund of her tuition.Consumer Response Thank you for you efforts to resolve this matter. After filing a complain with the [redacted], we received a phone call from Legacy informing us that they would be refunding the remaining $200 and examining their refund policy. To date, we have received a full refund.
