We’re sorry to hear you feel you had a bad experience with ShipMyAuto. We always aim to offer the best customer experience and customer service and we take into consideration all your comments, both negative and positive, so we can continue to improve our service and exceed our customer’s needs and...

expectations. About this vehicle relocation project, ShipMyAuto agreed to assist you with moving an inoperable vehicle. You will recall that the assistance we agreed to provide you did not include the loading or unloading of the vehicle on and off the vehicle carrier. ShipMyAuto agreed to provide only the transportation of the inoperable vehicle from the pick-up location to the vehicles destination. The reason for this was because the vehicle was inoperable. In line with this agreement, the body shop (where the vehicle relocation originated) did the actual loading of the vehicle onto the vehicle carrier. Again, you will recall that once the vehicle arrived at the destination (drop off location), you (the client) along with a colleague of yours proceeded to unload the vehicle from the carrier.  It was during this process when it appeared that the brake system of your vehicle failed causing damage to your vehicle. It should additionally be noted that ShipMyAuto has denied your claim about this relocation project on three separate occasions prior to you writing comments in this Revdex.com forum. Damage to your vehicle was not caused by ShipMyAuto and for this reason, we are unable to honor any claim request. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist any further in this matter.   Robert S[redacted], Claims Specialist ShipMyAuto [redacted] Tel +[redacted]

Dear [redacted]
Thank you for your continued feedback. As stated before, we always aim to offer the best customer experience and customer service and we take into consideration all your comments, both negative and positive, so we can continue to improve our service and exceed our customer’s needs and expectations.improve our service and exceed our customer’s needs and expectations.Moving an inoperable vehicle requires an unknown additional amount of time to complete such a move which can cause delays for all the other vehicles that the vehicle hauler is carrying on that load. Our business model is mindful to the needs of all our clients which includes the timely delivery of each vehicle. For this and other business reasons, we charge an additional fee when choosing to move inoperable vehicles for clients. In your vehicle relocation project, we initially suggested that you find another company to assist with moving the inoperable vehicle because of the vehicles age and client-described fragile condition of the vehicle. Your desire to have ShipMyAuto move this vehicle led you and one of our sales agent to make a deal that included you, your colleagues and your body shop to load and unload the vehicle. As stated previously, the body shop (where the vehicle relocation originated) did the actual loading of the vehicle onto the vehicle carrier and you (the client) along with a colleague of yours unloaded the vehicle from the carrier. This was the agreement and this is what took place.Any claimed damage to your vehicle was not caused by ShipMyAuto during the transit of the vehicle.[redacted], please understand (for the fifth time) we provided you a transit only quote and did not include loading or unloaded.  This is why the body shop at origin and you performed this function.  Because you were operating the vehicle at the time it was damaged, we must respectfully deny your claim.  We can not be held liable for damaged that was caused while the vehicle was being operated by you. We are unable to honor any claim request and we are unable to assist any further in this matter. Robert S[redacted], Claims SpecialistShipMyAuto[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Just received an email from the Revdex.com stating my claim was closed. I checked my portal and saw I missed a message, my apologies. This issue was not resolved and their response as to agreeing for logistics to unload the vehicle at my ending location is completely incorrect. I paid extra money for an inoperable vehicle to be shipped and delivered. Furthermore, the vehicle did not have working brakes from the start (it hasn't run or stopped in 15 yearssince my grandfather passed). ShipmyAuto was fully aware of this. Yes, my fellow Marine buddy and myself had to unload the vehicle myself as the carrier was going to let is roll down the ramp from the top/ back of the carrier and it would of crashed into the house the carrier was parked in front of. The braking system did not "fail" during the unloading process. This is completely unacceptable and not only is my deceased grandfathers truck ruined but my buddy and I also received whiplash and bruising during this unloading process. I also did reach out to the company several times before contacting the Revdex.com with no help from them. They state the truck is "inoperable" thats why they will not cover it. I also paid hundreds of dollars extra for this "inoperable" vehicle to be shipped so they knew it didn't run or stop. Furthermore, I hired and paid ShipmyAuto to receive and deliver my grandfathers truck. Not once was I told or instructed that me, the customer, would have to set my own logistics for loading and unloading of the vehicle. That absolutely does not makes sense nor did that apparent information be passed. I would like to open another claim or bring this higher up the chain, this is unacceptable. Please help.

I am rejecting this response because:
The below quote from ShipMyAutos response is 100 % incorrect. I, [redacted], the receipient of my grandpa's 72' Chevy was never once, not once told the below information. This was the agreement and this is what took place.Any claimed damage to your vehicle was not caused by ShipMyAuto during the transit of the vehicle. If that were the case, me being a 10 year Marine with embarkation experience for global combat operations to Iraq and Afghanistan would of had no problem setting up logistics for the vehicle to be unloaded from the carrier. It doesn't matter how many times (this now the 6th) I reach out regarding this problem because it is exactly that, a problem and it is unacceptable. As stated before, the Chevy's known end location point was a residence and the carrier chosen was unable to perform the unloading service. If my Marine comrade and myself did not unload the vehicle the safest and most efficient way we could, the carrier would still be there with the Chevy on it and there goes your time for other customers and cars. Please correct this situation and do the right thing.
Regards,
