Legacy Exteriors was hired to install a Decra Metal Roof 2/26/2014. When we were at his home, for the quote, we talked about replacing the...

roof he informed us about the leak he had in his sun room. We did install Decra roof to manufacturer specs. It was approved by Madison building inspectoron 5/21/2014. Later after install he called saying he had leak in his sun room still. [redacted], [redacted], went out and looked over flashing and he could not see where the water was  coming into the sun room.  When we installed the flashing we never penetrated the sun room's roof.  It is impossible for this to be a new leakbut a per-exiting leak in the per-fab sun room.  We informed him of this several times. We are standing by our workmanship warranty but this is nota leak caused by Legacy Exterior's install of roof or flashing.

We recommended replacing the pre fab sunroom roof with a rubber membrane not Decra. The leak is a pre-existing leak. The flashing put on does not penetrate thesunroom in anyway.  We only warrant the work we do, as any other business would.  The leak in the sunroom was visible on initial visit and is the same leak today. He chose not to have the roof replaced. The Decra roof we put on the main house is functioning as it should and is installed to manufacture specifications.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company arguments are untrue and misleading. The rubber roof can not be laid on the metal roof with many sharp fastening bolts on surface. Very unprofessional argument. It is obvious: The company has installed leaking metal flushing,  new leak appeared in a new place, this leakages should be rectified immediately, or needs to compensate for the cost of work - 432 dollars.Warranty on metal Flushing  is the part of the roofing company's warranty on roofing replacement of my house. This warranty ends May 22, 2016.I believe that such a company is not worthy Revdex.com "A+" accreditation.Regards,
[redacted]

Legacy Exteriors was contracted to install Gutter Shield on my home and to properly pitch, caulk, and clean of which the caulking and pitching was not done properly in the back corner of the house. After several calls an employee named [redacted] stopped by one late afternoon and determined there was not enough time to fix the problem. I was told someone would be contacting me and scheduling an appt. but no one ever contacted me after that. I called again and was told by Legacy Exteriors that the back corner was caulked and I asked why was it still leaking? So I went onto the back corner of the roof and decided to look at the problem and noticed that there was no caulk. Then I was told by Legacy Exterior that since I did that my warranty was now voided. I then asked how could I fix it if I did not look at it first? How was I to fix the problem, since they would not come to my home?
