Failed to complete repair and honor warranty. Would not return to fix repair.On Nov. 2, 2013 [redacted] (co-owner) came out my house repair a roof leak in the front right bedroom. He re-caulked around the flashing on the roof. I paid him a service call of $63.00 and purchased a 1 year warranty for $100.00. Total payment was $163.00. A couple of weeks later it rained again and the roof leaked again. I called Mr. [redacted] on a Monday and he finally came out on the following Thursday at 5:30 pm when it was dark and raining. I supplied a rain coat and a flashlight for him while he tried to repair the roof again in the rain. Needless to say the roof was not repaired. The next time it rained I called Mr. [redacted] to have him come back or send someone who knew what they were doing. Mr. [redacted] was in Hawaii (around Christmas) and said that he would send out his partner or his job foreman. No one bothered to call me or come out to even look at the leak. I finally had to hire another company and they fixed the problem. I called Mr. [redacted] after the first of the year to ask for my warranty payment back and he said that he would drop it off at my home. Guess what - he didn't show up for that either. I even sent him a self-addressed stamped envelope in order to receive the payment and I have never heard back from him. All I want is a refund for the warranty that was never honored.Desired SettlementI am seeking a refund of $100.00 for the warranty I purchased on Nov. 2, 2013.Business Response We strive for 100 percent customer satisfaction it is not always possible, some leaks are very difficult to locate and in some severe cases require several trips, it takes patience with our customers to complete and fix a problem permanently. There was a full requested refund of 100.00 sent out,check was issued on the 16th of feb 2014 and cleared on the 19th,there was a error in the refund request when sent to accounting and should have went out sooner ,but instead went out with bimonthly vendor payments.
