Legacy Recreation & Marine Reviews (10)

I have text messages to and from the [redacted] s informing them that Legacy would repair all items of concern. The door latch was a dollars latch that was on back orderthe DVD was not included, but I agreed to send them a check for dollars so they could purchase a new sony dvd from [redacted] The key issue was a little more difficult because all the keys were included in the sale, I did agree to replace the entry door lock with a new lock and key, free of chargeThe roof was inspected by the customer prior to the purchase, the roof was in perfect condition I do have pictures from the original listing showing that the roof was like brand new condition prior to leaving Legacy I asked the [redacted] 's to bring the unit back to Legacy so that I could make any repairs, she stated: " [redacted] will make the repairs, just send us money" I asked her not to do that, I wanted to see what the leak was, where it was coming from, and what caused it Instead of bringing it back to Legacy for the minor issues noted, they decided to get the Revdex.com involved I will repair all items listed, if the roof was damage in the storms I will also repair that for a discounted amount I want to try and make these customers happy

Sorry for the delay in response, as I was unaware of the complaint until the email received on January 22, Since the complaint was filed, Legacy Recreation has picked up the toy hauler and replaced the broken vent covers, replaced seals and completely resealed the roof and delivered the toy hauler back to the customer During the time of the issue, there were massive storms/rain including flooding that had closed major highways and damaged many roofsClosed roads in the Union, Eureka and Valley Park, Missouri areas also prevented an earlier pickup dateThese areas have been declared federal disaster areas The vents were not previously broken and I am unaware as to what or why the vents became broken I would expect the the reason behind the damage was from the stormsAs soon as I was able to travel to piand repair the trailer, I didIt has since been returned to the customers satisfaction

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/09/24) */
Our 30-day warranty requires all work and repairs to be completed by Legacy Recreation & Marine at our location and excludes batteries, tires and any negligent damageAny used RV is expected to have wear and tear and not be in perfect
or new condition
Our customer was given a 30-day warranty on the drive trainHe returned within the day period for repairs on the power steeringThese repairs were completed at no charge for the customerAll repairs need to be completed at our locationWe do extend up to $off-location repairs as a courtesyIf he would have returned within the day warranty period for other repairs, those would have also been completedAt this time I would agree to pay up to $in off-location repairs with submitted receipts

hauler back to the customer.
During the time of the issue, there were massive storms/rain including flooding that had closed major highways and damaged many roofs. Closed roads in the Union, Eureka and Valley Park, Missouri areas also prevented an earlier pickup date. These areas have been declared federal disaster areas.
The vents were not previously broken and I am unaware as to what or why the vents became broken.
I would expect the the reason behind the damage was from the storms. As soon as I was able to travel to pick-up and repair the trailer, I did. It has since been returned to the customers satisfaction.
