Work was completed on September 1, to fix the issue The floor laid down totally flat and there were no current issues after completion of remedy

I am rejecting this response because: the problem has still not been solvedI did list the gaps in my original complaint, as that is how you claimed you "fixed" itI cannot have open holes in my flooringI have seen plenty of hardwood flooring and have requested opinions from other contractors who also stated that those holes would should not be open and visible to people It looks awful around the stairs, as I provided in those pictures, you can see how ridiculous it looks and how noticeable it is Our house goes on the market in April and I do not plan on showing it under those conditions Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: There's still large open gaps by the stairs which look unacceptableClint says it's to allow the floors to move and grow, but it's extremely noticeable and with the house going on the market in the next few months, I will be unable to show it looking like thatIt needs to be fixed ASAP I have included pictures Regards, [redacted]

The reason for the rejection by the homeowner was never brought up in the original complaint.
Is this a separate complaint? The pictures and areas discussed in the rejection note are the way the floor is supposed to be You need to allow at least a quarter inch along every wall or vertical object the floor meets up with If you do not, the floor has no where to expand and will bow in the middle.
All of the floor is laid correctly

This is ridiculous. The complaint was resolved and nothing was stated to us about anything else till after we fixed the issue. This complaint should be resolved because nothing in the complaint said anything about gaps.We went above and beyond to fix the issue and other items that had nothing to do with our work. No one ever reached out to us.What the homeowner has a complaint about now(which again is not stated in orginal) is the 1/4" gap around stairs which as I stated is required on all flooring that can expand. I've worked in this field well over 5 years and never had a issue or something I couldn't easily resolve. She is trying to close in a gap that is required and if it's closed in will have a much bigger issue. If something else needs done we would be happy to do it but she is asking us to do something that will screw up the floors. That's a bigger risk for me down the road so I won't do that.Thanks###-###-####
