The crew that came out to replace our roof did not speak any English. I understand that this is sometimes necessary, but there should be one person on the job who can communicate. I don’t know who made the decision to provide extra work; replace all the plywood and two beams, but BEFORE the work was done this should have been discussed with my husband and an estimate of the additional cost. This was not done and supposedly someone came out to the house after 4:00, the work was completed at 2:00 to pick up the check for the balance and to explain the extra work. This to me is a little late in the day to be having this conversation.
On top of all of this, when the workers replaced the beam they caused an electrical issue with a ceiling fan, that had been professionally installed earlier this year by a licensed electrician. This caused a breaker to continually shut off. After repeated emails and phone calls, someone did come out on Friday to fix the issue with the ceiling fan, and very nicely left the wires hanging down. This is not how that fan was installed originally.

On Tuesday someone called, I believe it was Alex but I am not certain. To say that he wanted to process the final paperwork and settle up on the job. I told him my husband had made the final payment on Friday and I didn’t know what he was talking about. When he proceeded to tell me about the plywood and the two beams. I told him the plywood was included in the original quote and we did not ask for the beams to be replaced and no one spoke to my husband before the work was done. He very rudely told me that he came out and no one was home. My husband was home that day until after 4:00, so if he did come out it was hours after the work was completed. I basically told him I didn’t care. He then spoke to my husband on Wednesday and said the additional work was $1500. That amount is just way out of line.

More than a week after the work was done, I still have a construction dumpster in my driveway.

We went over that project with the Project Manager and our crew:In the original contract, we had charges only for 5 sheets of plywood, that were discovered to be rotten, during the estimating process. We did not have charges for the additional plywood and rafters, that were replaced, and there was no way for us to see a condition of other plywood as well as rafters until the moment, we started to replace the roof.After the moment of removal of the old roofing system, we discovered, that in order to complete the job, we need to replace much more plywood, as well as 2 rotten rafters. Otherwise, a new roof would fail very soon.Our Project Manager was trying to get ahold of homeowner right after the new data came in, but no one was responding. We tried to knock on the door as well as call. (Homeowner was present).We came to an agreement with the homeowner, that the change order will be $500, and $1000 more will be covered by Legacy, as we could not sign a change order at the job, and could not stop the job because of the open roof.The dumpster was removed a while back.Also, it is the first message, that we received from Revdex.com about this complaint.Thank you!--Best regards,Dmytro MResidential Division Manager/ Marketing Director

FACTS:

In August 2019 I uncovered a leak in the roof of my home following a heavy rainstorm. The leak in the roof was causing water damage to the interior of my home that had been previously undiscovered. As a result, the water damage to the interior of my home had created hazardous conditions for my 10-month-old son, wife, and myself—thus, necessitating an immediate replacement of my roof. I promptly began soliciting roof replacement services and engaging local roofing companies for hire. At each on-site consultation I informed the company representatives of the timing sensitivity for the replacement’s completion. After obtaining numerous quotes from roofing companies, I decided to hire Legacy Service USA, LLC. On September 9, 2019 Legacy Service USA, LLC and I entered into a binding contract for the replacement of my roof with work to commence on September 17, 2019.

CONTRACT TERMS:

The agreed upon total cost of the roof replacement was $11,360.48. At the time the contract was executed by both parties, I remitted to Legacy Service USA, LLC a deposit payment of $4,000.00 with the remaining $7,360.48 balance due upon completion of the replacement.

CONTRACT BREACH:

On September 17—the agreed upon date on which the roof replacement would begin—Legacy Service USA, LLC did not begin the project; nor had they informed me of such. That evening I called the Project Manager at Legacy Service USA, LLC and was informed that Legacy Service USA, LLC would no longer perform the roof replacement. The reason given was because Legacy Service USA, LLC did not measure the roof correctly and underestimated the project “by at least $6,000.” The Project Manager then proceeded to explain that Legacy Service USA, LLC would not perform the work that was agreed upon in our contract unless I agreed to pay them more. On September 18, 2019 I responded to Legacy Service USA, LLC and asked that if they were not going to honor our contract, to please return my full $4,000.00 deposit.

DAMAGES:

It is now the beginning of October and I have not received my reimbursement from the $4,000.00 down payment from Legacy Service USA, LLC. I am waiting on this money to be able to hire another roofing contractor to replace my roof.

The company in not professional and took 6 days to complete my roof job! It was supposed to be at most 2 days but the workers slacked off alot. They did not have a project manager on the job at job many times throughout the job. They used subcontractors that could not communicate with me.
Terrible company, Not professional, Not courteous, I WOULD NOT GO WITH THEM!
They gave me a refund of $ 300.00 Wow they said that is enough on a 6 day roof job that is still not completed.

The installation was good, but they did forget to clean up a few areas.

I was impressed that the project manager took his time to personally call me after the installation was finished to see if I was happy with the project. Incredible contractor!

Installers worked almost non-stop to finish roofing installation in 3 days and they made it!

Great contractor! They gave us the amazing soundproof windows that we always wanted.

My brother works as an installer here, he always tells me a lot of good things about the team and about Legacy as a company. That's why I decided to use them each time I needed work done. There’s no other contractor I would use.

This guys did an outstanding job with the siding and windows of my house, installers were extremely prompt and professional, it was amazing experience.

Final result is great as promised and was performed within the expected time frame, my house looks as new now. I'm satisfied.

5 stars contractor. They are providing honest and reliable service and very easy to respond to any kind of issues that could appear during and after the installation process. I know what I talking about - we had a problem with fixation of one window after installation finished, and team arrived in 50 minutes after I called them and fixed problem.

It was great installation from start to finish. Phil is the best as project manager so I reccomend to make a deal with him - he knows how to do installation the best way - I know it from my own personal experience.

They did an excellent job and I am completely satisfied with my new shingle roof. Job was done timely and whole installation took 2 days. Phil was easy to deal with, he is a real professional. Highly recommend.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new roof and with the entire experience with Legacy. After a rough experience with an inexperienced roofing contractor at our old home seven years ago, we vowed not to make the same mistake again at our new home here in Hatboro. We knew Legacy had by far the strongest reputation in the area and they lived up to it in every way. Manager walked us through the entire process and helped us decide on the best color and style for us. The crew was prompt, efficient, friendly, professional, respectful, and most importantly did beautiful work. The office called to update me every step of the way. The site was left clean and now my home has a drastically upgraded look. Above all, I have peace of mind knowing that the best roofing craftsmen in the area did this job. This won't be a repeat of my mistake at my old home, a roof is not something worth taking a chance with. Leaks, even subtle ones can lead to difficulties like mold. Now I'll never worry about that again thanks to getting the best for the job. Peace of mind is invaluable, and the curb appeal isn't too bad either!

I contacted Legacy Service a few months back to get a quote on my windows. They were extremely professional from the beginning. The sales rep was extremely helpful as he explained the process to us and helped us with financing options. It made sense for us so we decided to move forward on the first visit. When the crew showed up the day of the install we were impressed with how amazing these guys were. Our crew leader was amazing!! They did all of our windows in one day and left our house spotless when they were finished. We would recommend this company to anyone who wants a truly professional and easy going experience with no headaches!

Firstly we were looking to replace our shingles roof with a new one. Kevin explained how does it work, what will be better for us and how the process of installation works. Finally we decided to install metal roof instead of shingles and our decision was right. It looks amazing and very elegant.
