This letter is in regard to Complaint ID [redacted] Prior to the explanation of this complaint it should be noted a resolution was provided within hour of [redacted] calling me (as explained below) Apparently [redacted] made this complaint prior to his wife actually contacting us directly. We were originally contracted by [redacted] to survey the main part of their family farm in 2012, which we did This consisted of many documents, much research and many hours of reconnaissance and physical data gathering [redacted] then sold the majority of this farm and kept a smaller parcel for themselves Mrand [redacted] purchased the farmApproximately a month ago we were contracted by [redacted] to survey their parcel because they were in dispute with their neighbors Mrand [redacted] They were afraid [redacted] was placing “No Tresspassing” signs into their property, which he was We had already surveyed just about everything in the area so It was not that much work for us to do their remaining lotAt no time did any person from our company trespass onto the [redacted] parcel It is a strict policy in our business to be very careful of trespass, especially in cases of dispute In this case there is an on-going nasty and potentially violent dispute between the [redacted] s and the [redacted] We had already surveyed everything on paper and there was absolutely no reason to leave our property Matt never refused to give his name or the company name or any other information, in fact, Matt talked with the police and explained to the officer exactly what was going on, who he was and the company information etc The [redacted] s called the police prior to even talking with Matt (not dissimilar to them making this complaint prior to talking with me) It should be also noted we are completely non-bias and much of what we do is public information so we are very accommodating to people and take time to explain exactly what is happening, if they askAs a side note: as to the volatile nature of this entire thing, after the police left I was forced to contact the sheriff and ask them to come back to the [redacted] as [redacted] was discharging a firearm and stating that Matt should be careful to watch where the “No Trespassing” signs were, in effect, making veiled threats Matt had called me for guidance and I immediately contacted the authorities, afterwhich, the sheriff either called him or stopped by because Matt had said he left and went back into his houseThe second day Matt was there [redacted] called me extremely upset stating that the document I am surveying with was provided by [redacted] and is wrong She was very upset and I assured her that we did a thorough survey of the area in 2012, including, obtaining every local survey, road record, legal description etc We use MANY documents and not just any one single thing I also explained that we did not trespass and that we did not set any pins that weren’t directly linked to [redacted] ’s existing parcel (the actual corner monuments to [redacted] ’s parcel), after all, why would we? We aren’t getting paid for it She was afraid that since [redacted] had contracted our services we would be bias or be aggressiveAfter talking with [redacted] she had stated she felt better and was pacified After talking with [redacted] and having Matt walk with him to the pin the [redacted] s had concerns about (with witnessed consent from [redacted] ), Matt showed him the pin was a corner monument we originally set in with the original survey of the farm (when [redacted] owned the entire thing) and at no time did we trespass or do anything wrong [redacted] appeared understanding and was pacified [redacted] apologized to Matt in regard to discharging his gunThe Protection Order as stated is between [redacted] and [redacted] We never at any time did anything to intimidate or harass the [redacted] s, we don’t do business like that, in fact, their dwelling is feet away from [redacted] ’s parcel We did nothing reckless or unprofessional and as far as I know have remedied the situation, although, it is a very caustic one and there are very unreasonable temperaments involved In the 30+ years I’ve worked here there has never been a Revdex.com complaint It’s a shame that I took time out of my day (1/2hr +) and Matt walked around with [redacted] and they didn’t even have the courtesy to cancel it~BobD.BK [redacted] & AssociatesRobert LK***, Owner,Registered Professional Land Surveyor No8167www.dbksurveys.comPH 440-286-

I appreciate both the Revdex.com and resident reaching out. Communication is a good way to solve disagreements or misunderstandings.

font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Ultimately, the situation is such: Management received several complaints, from different people, that there was an aggressive dog in the apartment. Fearing for safety, we could not place residents in the vacant bedroom as a roommate. Per leasing agreement, we have every right to remove the dog from the property. We understand that many owners are very close to their pets so we wanted to exhaust all opportunities before we forced the tenant to remove the pet. The resident was given an option of finding a roommate that was ok with the dog. He sister volunteered to move into the apartment and was aware of the transfer fee when volunteering. We did not force anyone to move into the apartment. Also, per lease agreement, for all inter-property transfers, there is a $200 fee. Because this transfer was voluntary, there is a fee and the fee will stand. Management took the extra step in allowing the resident to keep her pet vs having it removed.
