Ms***, I am so sorry that this is happeningI truly believe this is nothing more than a misunderstanding, and unfamiliarity with the insurance claims processI believe that with proper mediation, we can reach a mutually- desired end resultAlliance Reconstruction would like nothing more than
to resolve this matter in a way that is satisfactory for all. I would like to now address the allegations you raise in your complaint:.Alliance Reconstruction offers a one year warranty on all workmanshipTo date, Alliance Reconstruction has not been given an opportunity to assess “damages“, or to correct any issues.Alliance Reconstruction did not “abandon” the agreement, but was released on November 8, 2018. Your home did sit for three weeks, but only because you refused to request the mortgage inspection. Alliance Reconstruction‘s DFW construction team was not used in Hurricane Harvey effortAlliance Reconstruction DFW maintained ongoing operations in their market. After you posted a complaint on the Home Advisor website, Alliance Reconstruction used opportunity to show good faith by continuing work on the project without being paid. Although only receiving only one payment to date of $41,on a $145,project, Alliance Reconstruction was able to reach a 75% completion.Alliance Reconstruction did not invoice nor claim to have completed the mold remediation. The insurance estimate provided by your adjuster only allows for a partial roof replacement. To date, Alliance Reconstruction passed the City of Arlington’s required inspections. After November 8, 2018, Alliance Reconstruction was not allowed back on your property to complete the work. Alliance Reconstruction was fired at 75% completion, and was not allowed to complete the project.Per the estimate provided by your insurance adjuster, light fixtures, ceiling fans, cabinets, and sinks were to be removed/disposed, and were to be replaced with new items of like kind and quality. We have been unable to install replacement items because of the firing. I will be happy to provide you with documentation showing this.*** *** President

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response due to the following reasons: Breach of Contract, failure to complete the mold remediation and demolition work in a timely manner; customer harassment sarcasm, & unprofessional behavior, and failure to provide me with a logical explanation for not having my house completed by November 3, 2017, as I had been promised by [redacted], and [redacted] of Alliance Reconstruction.  According to the first draw schedule, my house was due to be completed by October 1, 2017, but this didn't happen!During the month of August, Alliance Reconstruction received the first check in the amount of $41,348 to be use toward repairing my house, and work was to begin August 1, 2017. However, work didn't start until August 1st. Instead, work started August 21st, and from then until October 6th, only the roof, the trash, and "horrible electrical wiring and half done HVAC repair had been started but not finished." During the first the first week of September, I went to the house and [redacted] of the City of Arlington was there, and had already inspected the house. At that time, he told [redacted], the electricians, [redacted] & Son, and I that the wiring was out of code and that the house would fail inspection, and it did. During the first week of October, I again visited the house around 1:00 p.m., and noticed [redacted] and [redacted] & Son (electricians) working in the house. I asked [redacted] to relocate the two vents that had been fixated on both sides of my ceiling fan/light fixture located in the center of the game room upstairs and [redacted] said, he would relocate the vents, but [redacted] never returned to ensure the work being done. I even texted [redacted] several times. He responded to some of the emails stating that he would relocated the vents, then I never heard from him again. The last time I saw [redacted] or anyone working on the electricity was October. It was only after I contacted [redacted] that he rushed a crew of workers to the house to fabricate completing the work so that he could say, "75% of the work had been done." This isn't true and the mortgage company agrees that the work isn't completed at 75%. Failing to provide me with the scope of work and any changes involved in completing my house.  AR conducted the mold test in June, then waited until around July 31st to request a check from the insurance company so the mold could be completed. Basically, AR over charged for a mold job it never intended to implement. From August 21 to October 31st, only a few of the walls where mold remediation needed to take place been removed. By that time more mold had accumulated in the house. To date, many of the walls that needed to come down were still in their original position as of November 8th which is the day [redacted] and I met at my house. On November 8th, the lock box had not been removed and two men were working on the walls with old insulation still behind them and inside the attic walls.  Consequently, other tests were then required, which voided all other previous mold testing. The electrical work is incomplete and horrific, yet [redacted] has asked for full payment. AR completely altered the ceiling in my stairwell without my permission; now that has to be redone. that now has to be redone; failing to replace attic wall insulation; total disrespect and unprofessional behavior of [redacted].  when I met with him to try to resolve the issues concerning my house on November 8th. I won't continue to work with an agency that cuts corners while still expecting to be paid for poor performance. As of December 15, 2017, [redacted] pulled his permit contract from the City of Arlington, stating that he would no longer be working on my house. Around October 31st, I contacted [redacted]. He stated that he would meet with me November 1st at 4:30 p.m., but never showed up. When I contacted him concerning the meeting, he told me had forgotten. Then on November 8, 2017, I met him for the first time expecting an explanation for why my project had been abandoned. [redacted] didn't provide an explanation, but had plenty of paperwork to give me so he could talk about getting paid. [redacted] is very rude and arrogant, and eventually started harassing me via text messages for simply asking him to return my property and paying for my damaged ceiling. I eventually filed a police report because the text messages were continuous until I was advised by the police department to ask him not to contact me again. There is no excuse for not completing my house in the time he agreed to and as stated on the Alliance Home Improvement Contract No. [redacted], the mold remediation! [redacted] should have completed the work before he got paid since this is the way the construction business works.  during the month of September the City's permit had been removed from the property by someone from Alliance Reconstruction. From the start of the project, I was told that I would be receiving calls from [redacted] about the progress of my house however, I received one call over a 6 month period. Alliance Reconstruction and its owners are predators who take advantage of insurance claims, do "cookie cutter" work, then submit claims as though the work was completed with integrity. In the contract, it states that if there are customer concerns, an arbitration hearing is required, but [redacted] has never set an arbitration hearing with me because he's only interested in being paid, not doing quality work. I'm sorry that I trusted AR to start my house remodeling project that was neglected for work in Houston. I did attempt to resolve this issue but [redacted] to submit the paperwork to my mortgage company so I could continue on with another contractor. I have read another customer's complaint on the Revdex.com website that confirms what I have written.
Regards,
[redacted]
