Please save your money and headaches and hire an attorney and not a document preparer. I hired [redacted] of Legal Dox by [redacted] to help me with child support. It should have been a fairly simple transaction because my daughter’s father and I agreed on all the terms, visitation, child support amount etc. I just wanted to make sure the paperwork was filled out correctly with the court. We met in Aug. 2013 and she assured me she could handle everything. She informed us that we needed to take a parenting class through the court. We both took the class in September 2013 and sent [redacted] the copies of the certificate and filled out all the paperwork she requested. She said she would take care of everything with the courts. My first sign that something was wrong was when I received paperwork from the court on a Notice of Lack of Service, then Notice of Placement of the case on Inactive calendar. This was all do to the fact that she did not turn in the paper work she was supposed to. Our parenting class certificates were not filed with the courts until 5 months later! I have all the emails that show her various excuses as to why she was not doing things. And my docket clearly shows her incompetence. I even have an email where she lied to me and said she sent paperwork when she did not. And then after she had dragged out this whole process out with her incompetence I got notification for an Early Resolution Conference which we did not need since we had agreed on all the terms. She then had the nerve to tell me she would handle it but needed more money! When reality was she did not turn in the correct paperwork in the first place. It was at this point I got smart and hired a lawyer. Within a month they had everything straightened out. [redacted] had dragged my case out to almost a year! I beg you to do your research and hire a lawyer. Someone who is competent and actually knows what they are doing. Please save yourself the stress and anxiety. I was trying to save money and in the end had to pay more! I am glad they show her now on the Revdex.com website as an F. because that is exactly what I would rate her service.
