law, such as the US Code, the Code of Federal Regulations,decisions of the United States Supreme Court, etcWe are simply not in the business of publishing anything remotely like the information alleged in this consumer complaint.A quick Google search seems to reveal the source of the confusionAny number of (other)websites do publish public records, and at least one of them links to a section of the United States Code regarding the legality of publishing public records.For example, when I typed the complaining consumer's name into Google I arrived at a page from the website www.atlaspublicrecords.comThat page contains this language:DPPA (Drivers Privacy Protection Act) Disclaimer: Any speeding ticket listed on this database is a court filing, not derived or a reflection of an individuals [sic]driving recordThese court records are public information and not protected under the DPPAFor more information please visit this linkhttps://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/Follow that link and you will see that is simply a section of the United States Code, as republished by us on our websiteThe people at Atlas Public Records have chose to direct its users to our website to see the United States law which they believe empowers them to do what they doWe have no affiliation with Atlas Public Records or any other website who links to the United States laws we publish on our websiteMoreover, and more relevant to this consumer complaint, we are not publishing the complainant's informationPlease feel free to verify this by typing her name into any search engine and reviewing the results .Craig ** *** Associate Director The Legal Information Institute at Cornell Law School

To Whom It May Concern: They said that if I Google my name that it will no longer appear. This is false b/c when I Google my name the same information appears therefore I'm not satisfied with their response, see below from Google: Search Results[redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]
Please have them remove my information from all search results, as they're the source from which the information is being shared. This is entirely too much of my personal information that is being shared and accessible to anyone. As I stated previously, my personal information is private & I don't appreciate them exploiting my information like this. I've seen in other places where, other people have complained about them put their personal information out there for public display as well. This is indeed a speeding ticket, but if someone needs to check or verify this information they should in fact go to the public court system to check/view & not have this personal information (i.e. personal address & such) publicly displayed, I feel like this is direct violation of my personal rights!!!Thanks for your help with this matter.
