Review: I was solicited by mail when I was behind on my mortgage. I needed a loan modification. I paid almost $3000 for a "retainer" fee for their lawyer in California. I was skeptical, but was told the underwriters were in [redacted] This process has been going on for at least 4 months. When I call, no one answers, and don't receive call backs. They have not given me updates and informed me of what I should do. They also fired the underwriters, without prior notice, so I can't even stop in. I feel they are incompetent. The bank has refused the loan modification, and I am blaming this company on not doing what I paid them to do. I am 5 months behind, and may lose the house.Desired Settlement: I want a refund. I also think their attorney did anything, yet, so I should be entitled to it. Their [redacted], has not even called me about what he is doing for me. I would like to hire my divorce lawyer, [redacted] to take the case, as he is handling my divorce and title transfer as well.
