Thank you for following up with my complaint I understands BB is not a law enforcement agency I would like for that particular company and particularly the agent, "Mark" to never contact me again If the debt were valid I would be more than willing to pay for it But last night I contacted [redacted] and there is no such debt for They did tell me that I had a debt there from (said it was dollars for termination of a contact ) I don't remember this debt account and asked for information to be mailed to me the rep explained to me that this debt is no longer valid as company has written it off and that is was years ago None the less [redacted] is opening a fraud investigation over it So I currently have no debt at all with the company I would like this company to cease and desist and an apology as I was treated rudely, threatened with arrest, and seizure of my assists....this is completely unlawful according the Federal Debt Recovery Laws I wanted to make BB aware as this company operates like this regularly and just googling their phone number reveals hundreds of such cases

last night I contacted [redacted] and there is no such debt for 3900.00.  They did  tell me that I had a debt there from 2001 (said it was 140 dollars for termination of a contact ) I don't remember this debt account  and asked for information to be mailed to me.  the rep explained to me that this debt is no longer valid as company has written it off and that is was 14 years ago.   None the less [redacted] is opening a fraud investigation over it.  So I currently have no debt at all with the company.  I would like this company to cease and desist and an apology as I was treated rudely, threatened with arrest, and seizure  of my assists....this is completely unlawful according the Federal Debt Recovery Laws.  I wanted to make BB aware as this company operates like this regularly and just googling their phone number reveals hundreds of such cases

social security number ending in [redacted] in regards to an account with [redacted]. In accordance with company policy when any complaint is received by our
office this account has been closed, placed in a locked status and all numbers

been removed. We do apologize if our communication has caused any
inconvenience.Since the account has been ceased and desisted there will be no further calls from Legal Prevention Services, LLC, further it will not be sent nor sold to any other agency for further collection efforts
Although I was not present during the call in question and the actions claimed within the complaint are neither condoned nor normal business practice, it is
company policy to follow all pertinent state and federal laws included but not
limited to the F.D.C.P.A. Any actions found to be in violation of these laws by
any employee will be subject to a negative impact on their employment.
