Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/12/29) */ [redacted] came to the office in the afternoon on December 7, and met with [redacted] to sign up for a Divorce and Request for Order for Child Custody [redacted] sat with [redacted] , and explained the divorce process in CaliforniaWhile meeting with [redacted] , [redacted] interrupted [redacted] and informed her that he had an agreement with his former spouseHowever, when he went to pick up his son at his spouse house, he noticed divorce documents on the table, and for this reason he told [redacted] that he was upset and he did not trust his spouse so he wanted to file for Divorce before she didJust like regular office protocol, [redacted] continued to explain the Divorce process and she clearly explained to [redacted] that if his spouse did not file for Divorce that he would be able, but in worst case scenario if his spouse did file, [redacted] will accommodate [redacted] and file a responseFurthermore, [redacted] next concern was to obtain custody of his child, [redacted] told him that he can file a Request for order to get and Order instead of waiting six monthsAfter explaining to [redacted] his options of filing for divorce, [redacted] sat dcwn and completed our office Family Law intake formWhile completing the intake form, [redacted] aided him in explaining certain sections from the intake form that Mr [redacted] had questions or concerns aboutAfter Mr, [redacted] completed the intake form [redacted] explained to Mr [redacted] our office no refund Policy which is also on the last page of our office intake form [redacted] told Mr [redacted] to read and also verbally confirmed to Mr [redacted] that our office does not provided refundsMr [redacted] read the policy and printed and signed his name giving consent that he was informed about our not refund policyThen he made the payment which originally was for $but Mr [redacted] showed [redacted] a coupon from Yelp that he stated was from our officeWithout confirming and [redacted] trusting Mr [redacted] integrity she naively gave him the 20% discount, but later she was corrected by her Supervisor that our office did offer such couponsFurthermore, after signing the Intake form, [redacted] reviewed the intake form and noticed that Mr [redacted] did not include descriptions of the property that is stated in his intake form [redacted] asked hlm to provided license plate numbers and 401(k) account number which Mr [redacted] did not have at handSo [redacted] was generous and told Mr [redacted] that he can provide that information later over the phone but it can delay his documents from being completed because important property information was missingMr [redacted] requested for our office to complete the documents soon as possible but his wife had already filed on the following day , December 8, 2015, and our office turnaround time is 5-days excluding weekendOur office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm [redacted] called to follow up with [redacted] but he still did not obtain the account number for the (k)Cr December 15, [redacted] called in the afternoon before leaving work to schedule [redacted] for an appointment to sign his Request for Order, but he did not answer
