I dropped my clothes off to be altered.after a month I wanted my clothes and refund. They're refusing.
06/18 they took my money to alter my clothes . After several weeks I decided id had enough and wanted my clothes and money bakc. They refuse to give my money back. I paid 41 and some change with car (I have statements).

Mr. is a nice neighbor and he dropped off some clothes for alteration possibly after checking the price and range of services with another neighbor that provides full tailing services. We do not provide measurement services, but limited alteration work through our provider and he was aware of that fact when he brought clothes. Our vendor has confirmed they did the alteration work based on the measurements provided. Upon Mr. dissatisfaction we offered to get further adjustments done. We even offered to pay for the new measurements so that the rework fits him right to his current measurements. Many times customers lose or gain weight after the work is done. We have noticed Mr. change in measurements post the work. We wanted to make sure he is happy with what will fit him now. We even asked him to provide a sample outfit that fits right if he does not want to get the measurement done. As a goodwill gesture we offered him 50% refund and re-do the work as well.
He has refused the money for measurement, the refund and the re-work to his current measurements which possibly are different from the original ones.
We felt there was no criminal activity for Mr. to threaten police action at our place of business and create a scene. He has also posted some untrue and derogatory comments about our business online. AT this time we are not considering legal action against him for unjustly harming our business, but if we suffer any damages that is not outside the realm of possibility.
We continue to remain open to amicably resolve this matter as a first preference. I remain open to discuss resolution to this matter.

I was, apparently out of line when threatening police (apparently this is a, "civil matter" and therefore outside of city hands) and for that I am sorry.
I had typed out several paragraphs elequently putting your to shame before I took a higher road.
That being said, at the end of the day, I, the customer, felt and voiced that I would be best satisfied with a refund and return of clothes. No harm no foul and you, Legend Cleaners refused to make that happen. Why would I want %50 of my money back when I got %0 percent of what I wanted? ***YOUR OWN EMPLOYEE STATED THEY DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THEY'D BEEN TAILORED TO MY BODY*** WHICH. IS. THE. WHOLE. POINT.
I've already gotten my money back through claims with my bank so I'll consider this resolved as far as my own loss/ratio is concerned. I am sad to find conviction in the assumption that not everyone is who they say on paper. My thanks to the Revdex.com for facilitating this mediation and Legend Cleaners for participating.
