zoningThis was the first bid the complainant received from Legends Mechanical through *** ***That bid was accepted by the complainant and *** *** After Legends Mechanical had completed the initial rouinstall we were advised by the complainant’s husband that they had “fired” *** *** and were completing the project on their ownJeff from Legends Mechanical then meet the complainants at the project to complete a second walk through The complainant’s husband, at that walk through was advised of the standard options that were placed on the bid to *** ***The complainant’s husband was informed that due to propane being the only heating source, a heat pump upgrade would be a more efficient option of heating their homeThe heat pump option was offered to the complainant’s husband as a $1,upgrade cost to the existing bid from ***The complainant’s husband was also advised that the second level was not zoned from the first in the initial bidThe complainant’s husband was offered a second level zoning upgrade at that time for $1,On both bids the complainants were provided a gas line add on cost of $The complainants requested an additional gas line to a BBQ stub and a fireplaceA second bid was provided after that walk through reflecting the listed changes and add on upgradesAll upgrades were requested by the complainant’s husband at the walk throughLegends Mechanical completed all bid and requested work in a timely and professional mannerThe complainant was provided an invoice that reflected all work that was done including the upgrades at the completion of the projectLegends Mechanical has exhausted itself in explaining how the “credits” are included in the agreed upon upgrade priceThe complainant has been provided national average pricing to show that the low cost they were provided clearly includes a creditThe complainant has stated that both of the complainants work within the HVAC industry and we believe the complainants demand to see “what the equipment cost” is unreasonableLegends Mechanical has explained that releasing our wholesale vendor pricing to the public and/or another member of our industry is highly unusual and competitively inappropriateWe have offered to come out and replace the upgraded items with the items included in the original bid at no cost to the complainantIt is clear to us that the complainant would like to keep the upgraded items, however the complainant has no intention of paying for themLegends Mechanical is only asking to be paid for the services the complainant requested, or to recover our upgraded property and replace it with the quoted items at no cost to the complainantThank You

I am rejecting this response because:All I have asked of Legends is to provide me an itemized invoice detailing what my cost was for labor and equipment and any creditsI have at no point requested the vendor pricing and have explained that to MrC*** after he accused me of requesting the vendor pricing beforeMany of the statements that Legends made in their response are falseI did not fire my builder, the zoning was discussed prior to the rough and not after, there were no additional bids sent to me reflecting any changes and the gas lines were quoted at $however I was billed for $each and only credited after I sent them proof of their initial pricing on the gas linesI agree that the heat pump was to be installed as an upgrade after the fact unlike the zoningI agree that there were two additional gas lines added that were agreed upon at $eachI am appalled by the refusal of Legends to provide a customer with detailed billing information that was specifically requestedEvery single other contractor that I worked with gave detailed pricing, line by line, on their invoices to meI did not have to ask any of the other contractors to provide a more detailed invoice because they did so without being askedIt would be easy for Legends to simply provide the detailed invoice instead of making statements, rude comments through our email interactions and constant push-back that makes it look as if they have something to hideLegends was paid for their initial work and their final payment is not being held up due to their lack of compliance to my requestI stated several times to MrC*** that I had no intention of not paying them but needed to see that I was billed correctlyMy request is not out of bounds and is completely within my rights as a consumer.
