Legends Roofing Company Inc Reviews (2)

This is the follow up for Complaint ***.
Legends Roofing came out and repaired my roof. They were prompt in responding, very courteous, and concerned about making sure I was understanding what would be done and how it would be done.
Carlos was responsive to
all my questions. The roof looks great and I appreciate them, very much, for standing behind their work. I have referred them and will continue to do so
Sincerely,
***

Legends Roofing has had multiple emails from and to [redacted] in regards to the start her roofing project.  I would ask that she go back and read the email correspondence.  On Sept. 16, once we had a color confirmation from her, we stated that we were looking at the end of October, at the...

earliest, to start her project.  We had no way of knowing that the Northwest was going to set a record for rainfall in October and the second most rainfall in November.  On Sept. 30, we receive an email from her stating “I need to know when in Oct you plan on doing my roof replacement”.  We informed her that, unfortunately, we could not give her a date.  We do reroofs in the order they sign up and it depends greatly on weather and the new construction work load.  On Oct 7, she stated “Looking for an update on my roof replacement.  I know you told me October, so I like to know where I am on your schedule”.  Again, we responded that we could not give her a date, that she was number twenty-five on a list of about fifty-five reroofs.  If we get a good week of weather, we could get 12-15 reroofs done.  We also stated that we know it is frustrating and that we wanted to get them done also.  It’s the time of year when it is hard to schedule reroofs because of the weather.  On Oct 18, she stated “If had known we’d be this deep into Oct. I’d have had second thoughts”.  We had already told her on Sept 16 that at the earliest it would be is the end of October.  On Oct 18, again she wanted a date for her reroof.  We said that the weather had not been very good at all and that we are responsible for our re-roof customer’s homes while working on them and would understand if she would like to find another roofer who could get it done earlier. As you can see there have been, for the most part, weekly conversations with her on our schedule. I will be more when happy to forward all of them to you (Revdex.com) including anything after Oct. 18.Dec. 6[redacted] had emailed Cass and called the office at 9:05 PM wanting to talk to someone besides Cass to address her concerns.  She stated “This is not good business practice and whomever is responsible for work that cannot be completed in a reasonable time need to address my questions”.  I called her and left a message to call me on my cell phone.  I talked to her briefly in the morning and told her I would be back at the office around two o’clock and would call her once I had talked to Cass and reviewed her file.  After reading all the email communications and reviewing the file I called her and tried to explain how we schedule reroofs and informed her we had record rain in October and November.  I further explained that we were now dealing with snow and ice forecasts for the week.  She proceeded tell me that it was not her fault that we had taken on too much work and that it is not good business practice.  I told her that I did not appreciate her trying to dictate to me how to run my business and that it would be in the best interest for her to go with another roofing company.  I told her that her roof was a two-day job and that we needed to see two good days of weather in the forecast before we started her job as we were responsible for her house until we were done.  I also said if she would like to sign a waiver that we would not be responsible for any water intrusion during her reroof we would schedule to start this week.  She wanted to know why we didn’t start that day as it was nice and it was going to be nice the next day.  I had asked her if she had watched the news and weather reports this week about the ongoing threat of snow each day and informed her that we would not have tried to schedule reroofs with the forecasts.  She kept insisting that I give her a start date so I called up the King 5 News seven-day weather forecast and went through each day with her until Dec. 13.  There was not one day, let alone two, that had a good forecast.  I told her that’s why we could not give her a start date. She then asked about the next week’s weather.  I told her I would not as it made no sense to look two weeks out for forecasts in western Washington this time of year.  She also wanted a phone call on Monday, Dec. 13 with a schedule date.  I told her I would not call her but I would have her salesman call to give her an update.  After talking with her for over twenty minutes I told her that I was done talking to her as the conversation was going nowhere.  I did not hang up on her.Emails Below:
