Ammo regarding complaint ID [redacted].  However, I have been contacted by their attorney who sent me a letter and I have attached it to this email.  Basically, their attorney is blaming me for his fraudulent act because I kept the pistol and did not ship it back.  There is a problem with the attorney's letter however.  In the letter it states that the description of the item is identical to the picture of the item.  This is not true nor does it represent what transpired between me and the seller.  In fact, the seller listed a particular model and picture and neither of those represent the pistol that was sent to me.  There appears to be intent to defraud based on the totality of events in this particular case.  I am continuing to pursue a resolution to this transaction be it criminal or civil or both.  I have submitted complaints to the PA State AG's Office, IC-3, (FBI), [redacted].com and pending is a complaint with the WA State AG's Office.  I may file additional complaints with the local Sheriff's Office in the seller's state of PA and with the local Police Department here in [redacted], WA.  I am and remain dumbfounded by the lack of interest by the law enforcement agencies, including BATFE, who advised me via telephone, that they do not get involved in such cases.  Apparently they are not interested in cases that appear to be fraudulent in nature by their licensees.  Interesting to say the least.  I do however want this complaint made public in hopes that it will give the public fair warning when dealing with this company.
Finally, I am still hopeful that the owner of the Lehigh Valley Guns & Ammo store will act in good faith and complete this transaction by contacting me and sending the pistol he advertised.  The difference in price between the handgun he advertised and the one he sent me is about $500.  I find it interesting that he would spend probably a couple of hundred dollars on an attorney to retain him so that he could send me a letter when he would have been farther ahead just doing the right thing.
Thank you Revdex.com for your efforts in attempting to resolve this issue.  Maybe you can get the owner to reconsider.  Good Luck.

Review: On 01/19/2014, I purchased, through [redacted].com, a [redacted] pistol, model [redacted], in .40 caliber and in blued stainless steel. The seller advertised this item with a picture of the firearm and its description complete with model number. I paid a total of $740.00 which included $25.00 for shipping. The seller sent me the wrong firearm. What he sent was a [redacted] model [redacted], serial [redacted], in a non-stainless steel. There is something like a $500 difference in price between these two pistols. I attempted to call the seller and then emailed him through [redacted].com and his personal email address and he failed to respond. On 2/20/2014, I sent the seller a registered, return receipt demand letter requesting he make good on his sale. He has never responded. I filed a criminal complaint with the IC3,(FBI) regarding this matter. I also contacted the BATFE and was shocked to learn that they do not get involved in such matters but referred me law enforcement for assistance.Desired Settlement: I want the seller to send the firearm to me that he advertised and pay for return shipment of the wrong firearm he sent me.
